Danke / Thank you for it! - Rated 5 out of 5by whisp, 2 years agoIt works, not much more to say. No more suggested posts or any other gamification garbage in facebook anymore. 5/5 stars, thank you!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Steve, 2 years agoDoes not work for the super annoying "suggested for you" posts, which is why I added it. I've rebooted, reloaded/refreshed browser, and un-checked/re-checked the options. Useless.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17324717, 2 years agoI hope this keep updated, you saved so much time for fb users. If you want, you should try to make options for the "suggested friends" and "reels and shorts videos" that you can hide them optionaly. Cheers.
- Rated 5 out of 5by bmh, 2 years agoThe developer is very quick with updates to keep up with Facebook constantly changing their coding. This addon is much appreciated.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Umpiredice, 2 years agoDownloaded and installed it yesterday and it worked fine. Today, all the sponsored posts and suggested posts are back in my feed, every second or third post is one of these horrible things.

posted 2 years agoThank you for your feedback! I fixed a bug and released a new version last night. Could you please try again? - Rated 4 out of 5by broni, 2 years agowhen I try to install it I'm getting "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt."
manual installation doesn't work either cause "you don't have a permission to open this file" - Rated 4 out of 5by Gabriel X, 2 years agoI've been using it for a very long time, it was great, but since last update it's no longer working for me. I'm not sure how you make this, I guess you disable display for sponsored div, or something like that. Now I realized while inspecting FB's feed source, is that, they divide "Sponsored" letter by letter in separated divs, also "Learn more" etc. Maybe disabling everything containing those divs? I don't know, I'm glad to help! (There's no way to contact author, btw).

posted 2 years agoHi, I've just released version 2.6.2. Could you please update the add-on and try again?
In version 2.6.1, I removed some old algorithms which were there for a very long time. I tried to bring them back in version 2.6.2. Hope it helps solving the issues.
Thank you for your feedback. I also updated my Support Email in the add-on page. - Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 17494254, 2 years agoJuly 19, 2022, the ads are still showing up on the right side when I get to (groups) page. Also the reels and shorts show up on main feed, and suggested posts, and recommended groups all still showing up. I deleted cookies, and refreshed my browser, it's still broken.

posted 2 years agoThank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, FBCleaner currently works only on the main news feed. I might add support for the group feed in a future version. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17471269, 2 years agoI was about to give up on Facebook because all I was seeing was sponsored ads - I was missing important posts from my colleagues and friends. This add-on got rid of the ads as soon as I reopened my browser. Thank you!!!

- Rated 5 out of 5by Facebook Desuggester, 2 years agoAs of 26-june-22 it works. I feel the pain the developer is having, because I attempted the same, but facebook nonstop release new layout of the webpage forcing us to nonstop update. Anyway it will be good to include removing these idiotic reels, "Groups you might be interested in." and simmilar "cognitive and visual noise".
- Rated 5 out of 5by AKS, 2 years agoSeems to be the only extension that is able to block those annoying sponsored ads...
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17444959, 2 years agoAfter last Facebook update my previews extension stopped blocking AD. So I started searching for some new extensions and I tested about tens other extensions and only this one works really good - blocks all AD in Facebook.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13529300, 2 years agoThis worked right out of the box. Seriously, thanks Vasin for making this extension, you've made facebook a much more tolerable experience.

- Rated 4 out of 5by IdrilAndariel, 3 years agoIt works like a charm.
I wanted to ask whether the "suggested inflation" has been rolled out to your testing accounts by now, and whether an update is in the works. I have to admit that I long for the cleaner feed that your Add-on usually provides, so I'm looking forward to an eventual update ;)Developer response
posted 3 years agoThank you for your review. I wish I could provide a fix for you. It has been a few months but I still don't have this new update in my accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience. - Rated 1 out of 5by Tsunami_Australia, 3 years agoI wanted this to remove "suggested" posts ... doesn't do anything that adblock etc don't already do so is a waste of time and space!

posted 3 years agoI'm sorry for your inconvenience. Facebook has been rolling out a new update on news feed again. Unfortunately, all of my testing accounts haven't get this changes yet. I will investigate and fix the addon as soon as I get the latest update. - Rated 5 out of 5by gyongytyuk, 3 years ago
