We are sorry, you are currently not able to logon to your account.
Could you please write an email to mozdev@1und1.de and provide us with further information?
• How do you proceed?
• Which account(s) are you trying to login?
• Which MailCheck version are you using? The latest version is 4.8.1.
• Which Firefox version are you using?
• Do you have any other browser add-ons/extensions installed, that could affect MailCheck like NoScript?
• Do you get an error message? If so, which one?
Thank you for your cooperation!
Kind regards,
Your MailCheck-Team - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13770357, 5 years agoThis was supposed to be a new e-mail account but it took over my computer. It can steal my data and will know everything I do. I tried to disable/uninstall it but it is still here but it is no longer on any lists where I can disable it.
Firefox would not committ to resolving the issue. Now mailcheck is here for good. I give it no stars!Developer response

Please note that the MailCheck add-on does not steal any data.
You are also welcome to read our general privacy policy:

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the issue mentioned above.
The last open tab is the mail.com search engine.
This is optional and can easily be turned on or off.
To change the setting for the MailCheck, perform the following steps:
1. Right-click on the MailCheck (envelope symbol) in the upper right corner.
2. Click on the entry "MailCheck Options" and go to „Search“.
3. Remove the check mark at "Closeing last tab opens web search".
4. Close the MailCheck dialog box.
5. Right-click on the last tab and select "Unpin tab".
6. Close the last tab with the "cross symbol".
Now the mail.com search will not be opened when closing the last tab.
If you do not want to use MailCheck any more, you can uninstall the extension with a few clicks:
1. Click the menu symbol of your browser.
2. Select Add-ons.
3. Select the mail.com MailCheck entry and click Remove.
mail.com MailCheck is removed from Firefox.
If you have further questions about MailCheck, we will be happy to help you at mozdev@1und1.de.

Daher nur bedingt einsetzbares Add-on.Developer response

The search settings are all optional and can be activated or deactivated via the settings of the add-on.

Warum?

Ihr MailCheck-Team - Rated 1 out of 5by Michiel Dumon, 7 years agoI was a happy user for quite some time, but the last few days, the check doesn't work anymore. Also logging in on Mail.com seems to have been broken and the contact form on the site is unavailable. All of this only in Firefox. Very strange.

Your MailCheck team - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13412829, 7 years agoWhen the new update was launched on Friday my mail.com mail-check toolbar disappeared from Firefox. Now if I close the Firefox search page I lose my connection to Mail.com and have to log in again. Only option is to keep a search page open all day. The icons for write email, organizer, etc have disappeared altogether. Useless.

Unfortunately an error, which we could not find despite extensive testing, has crept into this update. That should not have happened.
If the option 'Clear history when Firefox closes' is activated in the Firefox settings 'Privacy' => 'History', the entered account data will also be deleted when closing Firefox. This also applies to all other MailCheck settings.
We are currently working on a new version that fixes this bug. This version will be published on Friday.
Maybe you will like to give MailCheck another chance then.
Thank you for your patience.

Your MailCheck team - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13406622, 7 years agoThe add-on does what it does: showing the unread mails. And if it would stayed with that, it would be a great add-on. But with the last update this piece of garbage forces itself on the new tab search function, which can't be turned off.
