- Rated 4 out of 5by Alfred Jorrel Bayle, 4 months agoI am re-working my review from the previous 2 star up to 4 stars. When I initially used this add-on, it worked perfectly. But then a couple months later it just suddenly stopped. A video I had watched a week prior at 1080, suddenly would only play in 950 despite numerous attempts to try and fix it, so I gave a 2-star. However, I tried it again now and the add-on is working again. I don't know if it was on the Netflix side or the Dev side of things. It works now but it took a fair amount of reinstalls and test runs to finally see 1080 registered on the Netflix info interface again. Due to these uncertainties, I can only in good conscience give 4-stars. The resume function also doesn't seem to work for every video, most prominently with anime shows.

posted 4 months agoHey Alfred,
Are you experiencing the issue with *all* titles, or just a few select ones? The resolution you describe is exactly the result of a restriction from Netflix for higher-quality streams being available. As stated in the description of this addon, "some titles may not be available to stream in HD 1080p/1080p+ via web browser, likely due to Netflix codec and licensing requirements". Unfortunately, addons can only use what is available to them. Hopefully, in the future, Netflix will make more stream formats available. Try a few other titles and check your resolution. If you see 1080p, please reconsider your rating due to other titles not working being no fault of the addon. If further assistance is needed, please do not hesitate to reach out! Thank you for your review! support@netflux.me - Rated 4 out of 5by MT430, 7 months agoI don't see any difference between 720p or FHD 1080p+ or video without addons. Seems like it doesn't work.
Update:
It works for most, but not for all videos - sometimes is 720p or even 540p when on TV is 1080 available. I.e. this one: netflix.com/watch/81488656 - addon shows 1080+, but picture is so poor like 540p.
But when it works, it works great!Developer response
posted 7 months agoAfter you start a title on Netflix, you can bring up the stats window by pressing CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+D, which would be a 100% reliable metric to judge functionality. You will see the actual streaming resolution as well as several other stats, such as audio playback to verify. Keep in mind that it will take Netflix a short time to buffer to HD resolution when you first start watching; this is normal. If you have one of the 1080p presets chosen and it is available on the title you are watching, it will match closely to the screenshot below taken today.
This addon is working as intended, as you can see from over 1,000 users and several ratings. It was also updated yesterday to reflect the most recent Netflix updates. It would be greatly appreciated if you could verify via Netflix's built-in stats in case there is a bug or a simple misunderstanding; please consider updating your very low rating.

posted 9 months agoThank you for your report. This addon has no effect on fullscreen vs. windowed, and it is also the first report of such an issue. It is possible you might have a conflict with another addon, or even a video driver problem. Does the issue persist with a clean install of the latest Firefox and/or disabling any other addons? After your report, I've tested this addon on both Windows and Linux and have no problems with fullscreen. If trying these steps resolves your issue, or further assistance is needed, please consider a follow-up and an update to your rating. It would be greatly appreciated.
