- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 10760194, 7 years agoI have payed for a subscription, but still using free add-on for firefox proxy, just because NordVPN is slowing my browser as hell.
To turn it on I have to click on the extension icon, then only after 10-15 seconds the interface actually appear, no such problems with other add-ons - Rated 1 out of 5by Kirsebaer, 7 years ago1) The addon is slow AF to react and has been for ages.
2) It constantly forgets the login.
3) Here is a small test for you. Try and copy your NordVPN login and password from your email client or a document. Good luck, because you are going to rage and want to throw the monitor into the wall, because simply focusing on another program causes all the input to get deleted.
Terrible addon. - Rated 1 out of 5by obeliska, 7 years agoDoesn't work in v52.3.0 ESR. Connects okay, but DNS Leak Test and What's My IP sites still show my original IP address and location.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tyler, 7 years agoDoesn't do anything for firefox esr 52.7.3 (64-bit) ... It says "Your web traffic is secured. You can now enjoy private Internet browsing." but my IP is not changed at all.
It's also a bit laggy, freezes my firefox for a few seconds whenever i interact with it. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13950260, 7 years agonot free. you are redirected to a website to pay to even use the features.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13869845, 7 years agoThe change of location is easy by country. However you can t choose a city per country. Since I m using the extension I get connection problems and I need to restart firefox daily. It is also responsible for problems with protonmail.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13659045, 7 years agoThe connection stops working entirely after about an hour and then I have to change the server. Their support is no help and just clings to pointless things to avoid the actual issue.
Example: "Your connection speed actually increased while being connected to our VPN (1Mbps increase in download)" Well I cant really send you a screenshot of the speedtest when the connection doesn't work at all. And it was also connected to Estonia when I had selected Finland in the extension... - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13818460, 7 years ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13724065, 7 years agoIt was better after the update, but ever since a few days ago it just just gets stuck loading when I click auto-connect or Choose Location. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't help.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13722521, 7 years agoThe idea for the addon is great but its implementation is flawed since it suffers some major problems, namely:
1) too often it loses connection and when it does it doesn't signal it. It just stops all connection and the only possibility for you is to restart firefox.
2) It stores login credentials in a cookie. This is really bad behavior since if you start firefox always in private mode you have to insert them every time from scratch. Quite annoying. Considering that starting in private mode is probably quite common for those concerned about privacy, who are also those interested in VPNs, then it doesn't look a good design for a VPN addon. It would be better to store login credential either in firefox password manager or inside a preference section in the NordVPN window from the about:addons page
3) About this I am no sure but it seems to me that when the addon is launched then it disables looking in /etc/hosts for name resolution. If this is the case, then to me this is bad behavior since I use a customized hosts file for adblocking (which is faster than CyberSec).
Please fix all the above if possible. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13497713, 7 years ago
