- Rated 1 out of 5by OliPro007, 7 years agoThis addon is way less usable than the old version still used in Internet Explorer. It doesn't even fill in the fields. I tried loging on a website where the username and password fields are on separated pages (where the password page contains an image to verify the authenticity of the server). In Internet Explorer it would fill in the username, go to the next page automatically, fill in the password and let me click on "log in". In Firefox it simply stays idle on the username page, not filling anything. This is basically nothing more than a bookmark...
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13881820, 7 years agoAt the same time we're being told to use long cryptic passwords for security, they have disabled the ability to paste passwords into Identity Safe. With long cryptic passwords, having to enter them manually makes Identity Safe virtually unusable. I won't use this app anymore.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13866963, 7 years ago"A script in the extension "Norton Identity Safe" is causing Firefox to slow down."
Have now disabled Norton Identity Safe, and anticipate that both Ancestry.com and LastPass will now work much better. The error message was incredibly frustrating, as it was difficult to get a screen shot.
Once I did, it was easy to remove from Norton.
Maybe Norton will give me a partial refund... - Rated 1 out of 5by Uncurly.com DIY Keratin Treatment, 7 years agoI host my ecommerce wordpress woocommerce website at godaddy. Since the latest update, this extension completely interferes with the backend of woocommerce. It makes things incredibly slow and keeps flashing this maddening popup telling me there's a bad script, but before I can move my cursor to the disable option, the popup vanishes. As soon as i move away, it's back. And so forth, on and on. What crap.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13830881, 7 years agoDoes not work well with firefox. If firefox updates, it takes Norton so long to update Identity safe that it only works for a little while before Firefox udates again and then the cycle repeats
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13762245, 7 years agoNorton is getting worse and worse.
Its a shame, because the protection is good.
I'm starting to look elsewhere for my security needs.
Safe/vault will not work in Firefox or Chrome, only Explorer 11, which is ridiculous.
Its like Norton has decided that they only care about Norton.
Pop Ups??? They have to be kidding, of just plain stupid to think anyone would put up with that.
I need to get protection from THEM now !!
Chat is useless. Their instructions are incorrect. It seems like they don't know their way around their own applications.
And, as others have said, I will NOT give them control of my computer, as they ask for in chat. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13750170, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13727289, 7 years agoFIREFOX : rarely seems to work for any length of time on Firefox ...... (however, has yet to fail when installed on Chrome) ...... great idea but so far, my experience has been that it is far too unreliable to be of any use, if Firefox is your preferred browser choice .
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13710783, 7 years agoStill doesn't integrate with Firefox. Today, a popup asked me to approve an update because Identity Safe needed my explicit permission to access six listed sites, none of which I have ever visited and none of which are listed in my Safe. There was no option to delete the sites, just an option to update with the relevant permission. This is either the start of a spam exercise or a programming error, neither of which is OK.

Normal 0 Sterne geht aber nicht. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13602804, 7 years agoevery time a new release of foxfire is installed there are problems with identity safe.
I try I.E and it works fine.
Very frustrating and makes it practically unusable.
Also cannot paste data into Identity safe to ease the set up of new addresses. - Rated 1 out of 5by inlandcdragon, 7 years agoWon't show Login-Name/E-mail OR-Password OR-ACTIVATE 'AT-ALL'! -Over Half-the-Time. -WORSE!! -4: '2-Page Sign-Ins' -Also. -Totally-A: -WWoT [-Worthless-Waste-of-Time]

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13554570, 7 years agoI have tried and tried to set up identity safe and it is too darn complicated. Passwords don/t work, over and over.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13541548, 7 years agoThis will not let me edit my passwords. I have to go into Chrome in order to open the vault to change the password.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13538754, 7 years agoNorton Identity Safe do not work with Version 57 in a simple way as with Chrome. Do not identify multiple Logins for one website. One click login is not possible - > so firefox is useless in this matter. I have to go with Chrome as long as this is not fixed :-(
I hope Mozilla and Symantec can fix this asap. Perhaps i have to switch from Symantec to another password keeper which works with Firefox. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13514806, 7 years agoIt won't install on Firefox. It keeps on asking me to install Firefox first. I AM ON FIREFOX. But not for long
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13504066, 7 years agoI can't set up the identity safe. I choose a password, re-enter it and put in the reminder. It then tells me there is an error. I have done this ad nauseam.
