- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14532472, 3 years agoI'm an old man who's losing his eye sight a little bit at a time. When I hit a "How To" page like the one I was dropped on after installing "Podcast Player Prime" where nothing has changed after installing and the "how to" instructions are walls and walls of text, I usually give up right then and forget about the add-on. Luckily for me, most instruction pages, even if they are long and hard for me to read, have a "quick-start" set of instructions at the beginning so that when you read the instructions, you can immediately try out each step, thus getting to an active, turned-on app much faster. It took me several minutes to find the Podcast Player Icon had landed in my over-flow menu, and several more minutes to figure out that the app was already active, but by that time the "How-To" was no longer visible, which meant several more minutes to figure out how to load a video or audio file to use for testing the if all the app's features worked or if some didn't as previous instructions had warned might be the case. I have not found any features that aren't working, but assuming I will at some point, the glitches may or may not be obvious, visible, or audible immediately. In short, the instructions are way too complicated for a semi-computer-literate old man who's losing his eye sight to get all that much information from.
Other than the above, I haven't found anything that I know needs fixin'. I haven't had enough time actually activating features and trying them out for criticism to be fair. That's all I got for now.
