- Rated 5 out of 5by Erector Set, 4 months agoBrilliant and enlightening little project. Foolish that people take stars away for not fulfilling their specific use cases. Don't ding it, just leave your gripes in the comments. This deserves five stars.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Zapfenzieher, 2 years agoWorks brilliantly! (Almost too well, sometimes; I want to allow my bank to port-scan me and I see from the code that I should be able to whitelist a domain but I don't see how. Better all than none, though.)
[edited to add: just saw the release notes for v1.1.4 regarding temporary reversion. Got it.]Developer response
posted 2 years agoThe new version 1.1.5 will be out soon. Right now I am having some users Beta test it to make sure there aren't any issues before it is pushed out. If you'd be kind enough to beta test it for me the instructions are here https://github.com/ACK-J/Port_Authority/issues/32#issuecomment-1720072034
Edit 3/11/25: Mozilla just approved PortAuthority v2.0.0 which has persistent settings and added the whitelist (gear icon). Enjoy! - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17530236, 2 years ago
