- Rated 4 out of 5by SevenOrEight, 10 months agoWorked great before, now on version 126 it's a blank screen and right click context menu in any page is missing the "add to quick dial" selection. Seems to be broken
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17298170, 3 years agoDobry dodatek, korzystam od lat. Może nie idealny ale działa najlepiej z pośród tych jakich korzystałem.
- Rated 4 out of 5by TickTaker, 3 years agoHilfreich, aber viel Verbesserungspotential.
- Rated 4 out of 5by techmaster50, 4 years agovery good addon! ty matmoul =) but even after update 30.01.2021 - addon has a serious bug =( CANT create new dials (they created - i see it - and then in 3-4 sec it dissapears forever). much more - the new dial which i try to create - moved not to Quick Dils folder in bookmarks - it mooves in main bookmarks default folder... fix it pls :) ty
- Rated 4 out of 5by Salsa, 4 years agoAfter updating FireFox to version 85.0, the correct operation of the extension is broken: there is no menu of the settings dialog and the display style is broken!
How can I fix the situation: remove the extension and install it again, but you will have to make individual settings, here is a hassle :( - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14215978, 5 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Vlad, 5 years agoPlease add in Quick Dial:
1. the ability to make a size for each bookmark, as well as for each folder.
2. the ability to make transparency for each folder and each bookmark. - Rated 4 out of 5by Supernaut, 6 years agoGreat job! It's open source and easy to set up with your existing bookmarks folder(s). I really like that there's no signup or extra cloud services needed. It's pretty much the best speed dial available for Firefox.
The only reason that I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there's no way to create new pages w/o completely filling all the grid cells of the previous one. There needs to be page tabs (w/ an add page button), instead of the scrolling pages.Developer response

It would be nice to open an isue for this feature in https://github.com/MatMoul/quickdial-webext - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14293310, 6 years ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13380529, 6 years agoThere's only one problem I have with this extension.
Whenever I open Firefox and it restores my previous session, this extension replaces the tab I was on with a "New Tab" instead of loading said tab.
Apart from that, this is the lightest Speed-dial-like extension I've found so far, no need to create an account or do some random stuff before setting up like you want it to.
Would really appreciate if the developer could take a look at that issue though. - Rated 4 out of 5by Александр, 6 years agoПочти идеально, но есть задержка в несколько секунд после запуска браузера.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14703398, 6 years agoVery good addon. Just anoying two things. Is it possible to fix them in the future? After firefox start, the coursor doesnt go into adress bar. You have to click on it, to start writing. The coursor should be there on tab start. Second - After deleting a bookmark, the others should move - rearrange, so there are no blank fields between them. Just the two things and it would be perfect for me ;)

posted 6 years agoHi,
For your first request, the focus in the adress bar, I try to find a solution...
You can add an issue on github for this...
For your second request, it's not my first idea, I prefer that my tiles stay on the same place...
But I can provide that in the future, just add an issue on Github so I do not forget it - Rated 4 out of 5by Michael Chelterton, 6 years agoGreat addon. But! After final setting go to "Grid" and change the name of "Root Folder". Then change back to original name "Quick Dial" and.... nothing. Just "undefined". So, that's way I loose all settings of my bookmarks. Please, fix it.

posted 6 years agoThanks for your feedback,
It seem normal, when you switch your root, you start a new config...
Normally, this parameter is set once at the beginning
If you want more open an issue on https://github.com/MatMoul/quickdial-webext/issues - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14612442, 6 years agoI was looking for a new slim dial addon and found this one. It's easy to setup and maintain but I only lack one feature: shortcuts.
In older Firefox versions I was running an addon which provided shortcuts for e.g. dial 1 on CTRL+1, dial 2 on CTRL+2 etc.
Is there any possibility you can implement that?Developer response

posted 6 years agoIt seem to work, you have the clean background of QD, just add folders and shortcuts...
rightclick -> Add...
Or got to a page and rightclick -> Add to QD - Rated 4 out of 5by Fxdemiurg, 6 years agoFirefox 63.0 clean. I install uBlock Origin and Quick Dial. In the settings of the Start - Restore previous session flag is set. I did not make any additional settings in the add-ons. After rebooting the browser, the tab loads not the saved site, but the Quick Dial tab. I have to click the Back button to return to the previous site. What could be the problem?
PS: Problem solving - extensions.webextensions.background-delayed-startup in false

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14224095, 7 years agoI've been giving this extension a trial run for a few day now, and so far, there's a lot to like about it. It's a clean look with an equally simple interface. What I don't find however is a method to rearrange the placement of the dials. When new dials are added, the default is 'last in line.' Understandable, but an option to later place it elsewhere would really be a bonus. Otherwise, very nice work!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14181407, 7 years agoGood!! Thank you very much!!
How I can dissable creating of screenshots??? I would like to have or empty dials, or with my own icon.
Thank you!!Developer response
posted 7 years agoIf you set your own icon on a dial, you can set on dial properties the checkbox on top right of the image selection.
Checking it prevent the refresh of the image...
