- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17438999, 3 years agoLes réponses instantanées sont pauvres.
Merci. - Rated 1 out of 5by Georges_Paul, 3 years agoExtremely sketchy that the apps suddenly asks for new permissions with no clear explanation. The replies by the devs are on the level of "trust me bro it's all good". Highly recommend staying away from this. Go for Qwant lite instead.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Max, 3 years agoIt doesnt have official Qwant Logo and it isnt verified by Mozzila security standards.
Edit: Changed the rating after Devs replay. Seems like its legit.Developer response

Rest assured, Qwant VIPrivacy is the new version of the Qwant extension. We are currently testing a new deployment. We will tell you more in a few days, we promise.
Since this is a fresh new release, Mozilla verification could take a few days to complete until their staff can review the extension manually.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 16986333, 3 years agoWhile I do support Qwant as an independent and privacy oriented search engine, I did not ask for extra blocking features and cookie consent handling ("VIPrivacy") when I originally installed this extension - only to set Qwant as default search engine. Please do not unexpectedly add completely irrelevant features to an existing extension, keep it simple.

posted 3 years agoThank you for your feedback and for supporting Qwant!
Our new browser extension allows you to block trackers and also have Qwant as default search engine. If you prefer to keep only the search engine feature, you can simply ignore the page.
We have transmitted your feedback to our teams and we will keep it in mind for our next versions. - Rated 5 out of 5by Elizabeth H, 3 years agoBravo pour cette mise à jour qui me permet d'être protégée des cookies la privacy simplified c'est vous pas le canard !!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Dave.s, 3 years agoTwo years after the developer claimed that they were going to change this add-on so that it did not change the homepage to their own without warning it just has when I installed it in April 2022. I've reported it to Firefox and uninstalled.
