Developer response
posted 2 years agoThat has changed with 1.0.0. Note that you can't leave the target domain field empty. If you want a rule that matches requests from a specific origin domain to any target domain use a regular expression like ".*$" for the target. - Rated 2 out of 5by 𝖘𝖈͈̺𝖆𝖗, 7 years agoThis doesn't have the "Forge" option that RefControl had, which sends the root of the site being visited as the Referer. "Prune" is close but it will send https://r.search.yahoo.com as the Referer when visiting https://www.whatismyreferer.com/ for example. "Forge" would send https://www.whatismyreferer.com/ instead. Please add a "Forge" option. Thanks

posted 6 years agoI've created an enhancement issue (https://github.com/airtower-luna/referer-mod/issues/3) for a "forge"-like feature, you're welcome to comment on whether that'd be what you need. - Rated 2 out of 5by WilliamAHuston, 7 years agoThis add-on used to work for me. Now that I've upgraded to Quantum (v60.0, 64 bit, Win7) it is no longer working.
I am trying to use the "replace" action. I have confirmed using LiveHeaders that when I visit the target domain, there is NO "Referer:" directive at all. It's not wrong, it's missing. WilliamAHuston@gmail.com thanks.Developer response
posted 6 years agoIf the issue was with per-domain rules it should be fixed in version 0.5.
