This removes those annoyances temporarily, until the page is reloaded. Remove permanently would be awesome. But this will do.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Patrick Abi Salloum, 8 years agoHello there, I am the author of Nuke Anything Enhanced, I wish you had contacted me before doing this, I had been updating the add-on to use Web Extensions and adding features in anticipation of the Firefox 57 release! Just released the new version this weekend.
Do you want to join efforts and become a collaborator for the original add-on? Instead of duplicating the effort?
In all cases great work, and sorry I did not have time to update earlier.Developer response
posted 8 years agoThanks for the offer! I've been using NAE for years, so I'm glad you updated it in time for Firefox 57.
Working together to improve NAE sounds like an interesting idea. What plans do you have for it? I'd be willing to help if it's just maintenance and the occasional new feature, but I can't really contribute beyond that because I already have other projects to work on. - Rated 5 out of 5by Yadn, 8 years agoThank you so much for this add on, I'm supportive of all the changes coming with FF57 but still I was contemplating with some dread the loss of Nuke Anything Enhanced. There's so much junk on some pages you need something like this to just get a proper reading experience. And then you came ;) Bliss...
A small suggestion: compared to NAE, Remove Anything add a submenu level. On a laptop with trackpad, this slows down a tiny bit the act of nuking an element. OTOH, it's nice to have all the RA commands in one place and not clutter too much the submenu. Would it be possible to have a keyboard shortcut to nuke the element at point, under the mouse? Then the common operation would be even faster and convenient than with NAE, with mouse free nuking.
Again, thank you so much!Developer response
posted 8 years agoThank you very much! :D
I agree that it would be better to have at least the "Remove this object" item in the main right-click menu, but this doesn't seem to be possible with the WebExtensions API according to Mozilla's documentation: "If you have created more than one context menu item or more than one tools menu item, then the items will be placed in a submenu." (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/WebExtensions/API/menus)
Adding a keyboard shortcut is a good idea! I've just now implemented this and released version 1.3 with this feature. - Rated 5 out of 5by happysurf, 8 years agoDoesn't work on Firefox 52.3 ESR on Windows.
EDIT: The version 1.2 fix the problem.
Simple and useful.
Suggestion:
Will be great have a feature for remove multiple element.
Thanks.Developer response
