- Rated 4 out of 5by NateWorldWide, 2 years agoOn Version 3.0.842, currently no disable feature for specify websites that you are not going to buy on like ecobee or Duke Energy for the reports and bills. These are usually on a list called a blacklist and such an easy old school neccessary feature I have been very surprised RetailMeNot has not come to the same conclusion given enough time that the extension have been in play.

- Rated 4 out of 5by Howard, 4 years agoIt works well enough. Sometimes it comes up with a valid code that saves money. But yesterday's update now adds their logo throughout my Google search results, with no option to disable it. VERY annoying.

I was going to downgrade this to 2 stars because of my cash back problem. I've been using it for years and getting the discount posted, so that's worth a couple of stars. However, the cash back enticement... In the years I've been using it, I have not gotten one single cash back reimbursement that the site promises. They said I needed to be logged in, and I've ensured that I am. But I never received cash back. Rakuten automatically sends (or sent?) it when it reaches a certain amount. RMN didn't tell me that I need to go to their page and manually request a payout. So that's what I did. If you don't know to do it.. well..? Now I do.
ORIGINAL REVIEW IN 2020
3 Pros:
-I feel safe with RetailMeNot.
-I've been using the website since before apps or browser add-ons were "a thing" and RMN often has a code that others don't.
-You can go to the RMN website to look for more.
The add-on isn't so pushy like some others are so once you dismiss it, it usually stays silenced; but if you want it, it's right there on bar.
3 Cons:
-On the flip side, sometimes they don't have anything helpful but at those times, most other places don't, either.
-The add-on isn't so pushy like some others are so once you dismiss it, it usually stays silenced; but if you want it, it's right there on bar.
-If you don't go to the website or check otherwise to be sure you're logged in at RMN, you may not get what their offer says, so you need to make a note of it until you see it has appeared in your account.
I'd still use it anywhere available. In all the years I've used it, I've gotten a number of discounts (although some didn't end up in my account and now I know better); but I've never ended up with anything aggressive on my computer -- just some minor cookies. - Rated 4 out of 5by Christopher Hall, 4 years ago
