Just wonder if the zoom level can be set with a default value? I would like to zoom out at 0,85 for all video so that subtitle is not display in video.Developer response
posted 2 days agoI can set the default when entering the watch page/fullscreen and zoom in/out according to the desired value. But I think that's what you really want. To make the subtitles appear, try using my extension called "Youtube Subtitle Position" first. It can move the subtitle position and has an option to remember that value. If it really doesn't work, send request via "issue/suggest" button on the options page and attach a link to the screenshot of the missing subtitle. I think it's strange that the subtitles are missing. - Rated 4 out of 5by Eug2024, 3 days agoIt is overall a good extension, even though it had a recent issue with zoom in/out, which was fixed relatively quickly.
I like that we can select custom keyboard shortcuts, especially when some default ones haven't worked.Developer response
posted 3 days agoHi. Which shortcuts don't work? Is it move left, right with the keyboard? I just noticed that I didn't fix the skip 5 sec issue, I'll fix it later. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17141374, 3 days agoThank you for returning the best YouTube zoom feature for Firefox, it is very much appreciated. I'm sure any new ideas/features you come up with to include in this extension, a certain percentage of people would happily support you via the subscription. :)

posted 3 days agoThanks. There will be no subscription in this extension anymore and forever. I will think about creating something else instead. - Rated 1 out of 5by rp, 3 days ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Network23, 4 days agoUpdated review. Thank you. 1 quick suggestion. When zooming on X/Y the hit box needs to be really exact, like the cursor exactly on the - . Can the hit box be a little bigger?

Ok, I will increase the hitbox size in the next update. Please update the extension again in a day or two.

Permission is not related to subscription. This permission is required for adding buttons to YouTube tabs. Previously it was used in manifest v2 too, but in v3 the user has to enable it manually. In all Chorme extensions that add anything to a page it has to have this permission but in chrome It enable automatic, unlike Firefox. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18813869, 4 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17602991, 4 days agoYeah, I'm not paying for this crap. Especially not a SUBSCRIPTION for a simple feature that other addons can do, uninstalled, goodbye!
EDIT: I'll review and say what I like how I like, just like all the other reviews you've gotten today. I expect a basic extension like this to not charge an idiotic MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, again just as all the other people reviewing this garbage do. If it was just a one time payment you would have gotten a lot less pushback, but after this I wouldn't give you 1 single penny. So again, uninstalled, goodbye! 😊 - Rated 1 out of 5by Wepeel, 5 days ago

posted 4 days agoIf my decision makes you unhappy then just remove. Haven't you been using it for free for a long time? Still not satisfied with anything? - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14886698, 5 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15274688, 5 days agoThis new update, putting an already existing feature behind a pay wall, is going to get your add-on completely review bombed. If you were adding new features and putting those behind a pay wall you might get a pass but as it stands this isn't going to be received well, especially when nobody expects to pay for add-ons. Donations would have been a much smarter option. I'll be removing this one and gladly never look back. Good luck.

posted 4 days agoThank you, I understand why everyone is mad. It's free to use for a long time. I respect your decision. At first I wanted it to be just a donation, but the country I live in doesn't accept donations whether I use paypay or stripe. - Rated 1 out of 5by tangogood, 5 days agoIt was useful for zooming & shortcuts. But now I'm uninstalling. Main info page doesn't say but it is now subscription. Very bad by the developer to lure people into using and then remove functions.
Edit: I already found a better and open source replacement lolDeveloper response
posted 4 days agoSorry to make you think it's a lure, but it's not like that. And it's been free for a long time. It's not just recently. As i get older, i need to spend more money. After I updated the code I decided to add it. For the time I spent doing it - Rated 1 out of 5by Boeser Waldgeist, 5 days agoNew Permission for Data & Zoom is not included anymore? Mmmhhh. Thanks, but no! Im quit!
Developer response
posted 5 days agoIt's not a new permission. It's the same permission from manifest v2, but in v3 it needs the user to enable it themself.
And I'm not forcing you to use it. There's no need to tell me when it's not what you want. - Rated 1 out of 5by iG0R, 5 days ago
