- Rated 1 out of 5by AlexOja, 6 months agoUI is clunky, weirdly implemented, wasteful, unclear and unintuitive. One of the worst out there. Though I'm comparing to ones on a different platform. For me this is unbearable and useless.

6000 tabs open. Popup and sidebar remain plain white even after minutes of waiting."
Just added this extension and have the same issue as liftm. I see that it hasn't been replied to, let alone addressed after 5mos for this user, so I'm not expecting this to ever work for me either. Disappointing experience - Rated 1 out of 5by al3ph, a year ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by e scoles, 2 years agoConfusing UI. Features are poorly explained & don't feel very well thought out to me. Import only accepts JSON but no explanation of what the key names need to be in your JSON. Since this is a very old extension, hard to imagine it getting better now.

- Rated 1 out of 5by steam643, 3 years agoI downloaded and installed Tab Manager Plus for Firefox last week. I sorted through about 150 tabs the manager seamed to be what I needed. I had 4 windows open that I was sorting into named Hobie's, Financials. Truck stuff, and General where I was keeping tabs that didn't fit the other three. I got tabs the way I wanted them and decided to see what happens when I turn off Firefox. When I restarted the tab that I called General was gone and with it all of the tabs in it. What did I do wrong? Is there any way to get them back? I tried the history but there are only a few from that window. I tried to rebuild the window with what I had then restarted again. Once again the General window was gone. This program looks like just what I need. It also likes to delete the names that I assign to different windows. I just recently had a power outage and once again the General window was gone! What am I doing wrong? I just had to restart my computer and now i have lost another group. I'm getting rid of this thing! If I wanted to reduce the number of tabs I would have just deleted them myself.
- Rated 1 out of 5by LS, 4 years agoAfter installing, I wanted the sidebar to go away, so I pressed the red "X" button. All of my 415 tabs closed. I see now the top "X" for closing the sidebar. Too late for me, and I've lost productivity trying to get those tabs back. ____ Wish the pop-up forced you to read the deletion notice by having another button to confirm. Many people will click the red "X" button automatically without seeing the message. The red button shouldn't assume that you will hover over it to get the notice. I'm sure this has happened to many others. Heads up.

posted 3 years agoI'm so sorry about your loss. So you pressed the "Close this window" button ( when you hover over with the mouse, it also says "Close this window" - and the text in the top of the extension also changes to "Close this window" )
But you assumed it would close the sidebar, is that right? And you had one window open with 415 tabs?
Argh.
Were you able to recover the tabs by going to the firefox history, and reopen them?
To be honest, adding an additional step when closing a window would also reduce the simplicity of the extension. One of the nice features about it is that you can quickly close many windows while cleaning up your workspace. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16264662, 4 years agoOpens new window for every new url or click! Awful! Not working right at all!

posted 4 years agoMake sure you don't have the "Limit Tabs Per Window" setting set to a too low value. If you set it to 1, then you can only have 1 tab per window.
If you set it to 0, then the setting will be ignored.
