by Dinir, 3 years agoI was using it for half an year.
I just found out clicking the X button often hides some other accounts as well, and there could be still some pages where the contents supposed to be filtered will still appear (eg go to `directory/game/GAME_NAME/videos/all` then change the Sort By to Recently Published).
Since the filter items are all shown in a letter order, there's no way I could find and revert hiding on those I didn't meant to. But even if it can show the chronological order, it's gonna be so much burden at this point with several hundreds of items for each hiding options.
It was good to have a "SEEMINGLY" solid way to completely hide not just categories but also channels on twitch, but now I can't trust the extension anymore. Even if I swallow the bitter pill and decide it's okay to ignore those innocent but wrongly hidden channels, I'd still gonna see some accounts and other things I actually wanted to never see ever again.
I liked this extension. I am going back to FFZ with only category-wise filtering.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12985410, 5 months agoIt's been improved since I last rated it. Now it just needs an option to hide channels over a customizable viewer count and I'd give this 5 stars. EDIT: of course it would stop working for no clear reason within hours of me writing this. Sigh.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18158169, a year agodude thank you so much for making this extension, I absolutely hate the brainless/immature slop (mostly vtubers) that twitch tries to shove down my throat anytime I open my home page. With twitch adblock and now this extension I can browse freely without intrusions on my sanity. When I finally get my CC i will be sure to donate to your noble cause :)

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16179928, a year agoAdds necessary features for filtering out garbage on twitch. Convenient to block out unwanted tags and channels. Author updates quickly and responds to communication effectively in regards to twitch updates which break functionalities. Highly recommend.

posted a year agoNew version releases soon (currently in review by Firefox's add-ons team). The changes on twitch.tv have been rolled out in waves this time, so it took two weeks before I could even start analyzing the new changes, let alone work on a fix. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17919910, a year ago
