- Rated 1 out of 5by Ksko1900, 4 hours agoAfter what I’ve experienced, buying another license from this company simply doesn’t make sense.
There’s too much unpredictability regarding browser support, product stability, and transparency in licensing.
A “lifetime license” means nothing if core features can vanish overnight because of external decisions, effectively rendering the purchase worthless. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13378591, 5 hours ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by abowden, 6 hours agoIts the best I've found, it tends to work for every site, but it has some problems, the simultaneous download limit can be troublesome, trying to guess what's being downloaded on a given page can be a pain, but some sites have trouble detecting videos, especially if you've been on the page for a while, or a stream was downloading, and cutout and you didn't notice, not even refreshing seems to work, you have to restart the browser...
- Rated 1 out of 5by GateOfShadows, 7 hours agoHave to install additional software to make it work. Plus, now you have to pay $30 or you will have a huge QR code persistent in your video. Completely useless.

- This addon has never been really good, but unfortunately it is indispensable due to the lack of alternatives. With the last update it has become much worse. A proper download in Firefox is no longer possible. The developers are desperate to sell their own addon.
Alternatively, you can just copy the link and open it in the Free Download Manager. This is not comfortable. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19525688, a day ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by PublicScrutiny, a day agoWorks alright on windows, but runs like absolute buns on Linux. Downloads move at a snails pace yet I have StarLink. Makes absolutely no sense at all!

Do not pay the $30.00 for "Lifetime Use"! Been there, did that. If your computer goes down, "Lifetime Use" meets with an early death and cannot rise up like Lazarus without throwing ANOTHER $30 to Video Download Helper.
This time, lifetime was only three weeks.
That said, the add on is really good. But, lifetime should mean lifetime. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19524075, 2 days ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Parker, 2 days agoTried to download audio from Chrome with this extension but it says "Please use the Firefox version". So then I download the Firefox version and it says "Please install the external program". So I download and install the external program but then it says "Please pay $30 for a license to download audio". WTH!?
They made me jump through all these loops just to sell me a license at the very end!
Chrome version works fine for downloading videos so I'll give it an extra star. - Rated 5 out of 5by sgm, 3 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19519608, 3 days agoThe software was free and has always worked fine. However they added a watermark. The watermark however also was applied to some videos downloaded PRIOR this update. I don't think the software should be able to do that.
