by X5-176, 2 days agoUPDATE: As of today 11-07-25, I just got an email from Mozilla saying they checked in and reviewed this extension and it DOES violate Mozilla's policies, and they are contacting the developer to make changes to the extension and if he doesn't they WILL remove it.
1 Star rating he's now putting a qr code on our videos being downloaded to force us to buy, already bad enough he wanted us to download a 3rd party companion app to make the extension work properly.
This was a bait and switch on his part, he wanted as many people as possible to download and use the extension and now he's trying to force us to buy it, pretty scummy imo.
Uninstalled and possibly never coming back to it, there's other alternatives this was just the easiest at the time.
Will keep come back now and then to make sure others know how bad and scummy this move was though.

- Absolute bait extension.
Donwloaded it, tried to use, asked for a third party program.
Then after installing the program, about 40% of the video it downloaded was a huge QRcode = video is half gone, want no QRcode? pay up, nah...
Ty no ty., I'd rather download the ocasional video manually. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18546685, a day ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by ma-, 4 days agoWhy is Mozilla allowing this bait and switch application here? You install the extension and then after a few working downloads it starts trying to get my to install a binary on my machine.
