- Rated 2 out of 5by JessRotzi, 2 years agoI was super excited for the trim post option, because I use tumblr a LOT for roleplaying, so being able to trim down long posts to keep them neat is quite nice.
However, I've had a handful rp partners not able to interact with the post at all once I do that. And they have to fully create a new post. It's pretty inconvenient now and this was the primary reason why I downloaded xkit rewritten.
I'm still going to keep it because of the other quality of life improvements it gives, but I am disappointed that this feature is not working as expected.Developer response
posted 2 years agoCould you open an issue at https://github.com/AprilSylph/XKit-Rewritten/issues/new/choose with links to example posts, please? This is the first I'm hearing of this problem, so it would be helpful to be able to debug this. Thanks! - Rated 5 out of 5by Phaede, 2 years ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by Ofi, 2 years agoReally useful! Doesn't keep up with tumblr updates nearly as fast as the older xkit(s) did, so there's a huge banner on top of my dash that I can't get rid of.. And while it's nice to have the drop down menu to toggle extensions on/off, there's not much information given about a lot of the extensions, so I never know which extension to look through when I want to block an ad/sponsored post/asktime banner/etc.

posted 2 years agoIt sounds like you're looking for the Anti-Capitalism feature and the "Hide the answertime banner" option in No Recommended! If anything's not working in any way, please open an issue on GitHub with more details: https://github.com/AprilSylph/XKit-Rewritten/issues/new/choose
Also, a tip: the search in the control panel searches feature titles, descriptions, and options! - Rated 5 out of 5by Zuri, 2 years agoCan't use tumblr without this extension tbh - though it seems like the recent update has broken the quick reblog feature.

posted 3 years agoCheck out Palettes for Tumblr! It does the job even better than Old Blue.
