- Rated 4 out of 5by Siluri, 22 days agoTumblr appearance is suddenly messed up as of yesterday. the scrollbox is suddenly far too big, i have to reduce screensize to 80% to see user icons.
Turning this extension off fixes it, which is a pain as otherwise this extension is great.
Edit. Panorama (new?) feature was automatically turned on which i had not done. Turning that off fixed the issue.
EDIT 2 - I never had Panorama on ever. Also checked all the boxes and there were two i ALWAYS have on that were turned off- quick tags and quote replies. So either i have a digital poltergeist...or
edit 3 - as id made a post on Tumblr about the change ive had a number of replies from other users who also had this issue, that say they never had Panorama turned on and found it as such.Developer response
posted 22 days agoPlease be assured that new features in XKit Rewritten do not enable themselves. The only circumstance in which anything will enable itself is if we replace a feature's option with something else (e.g. moving an option from Tweaks to No Recommended, or splitting one option into two that when combined do the same thing as the old option).
Panorama is not a new feature, but it has been broken for around two years as a result of Tumblr's new three-column site layout. What's likely is that you enabled the feature before or during this time, and now that it's fixed, it's obeying your pre-existing configuration and "suddenly" activating as a result.
If you have any recent configuration backups, you should be able to see Panorama in the list of enabled features there to corroborate what I've stated. - Rated 4 out of 5by Noctemys, a year ago⚠️ I lowered this to 4 ⭐ because the trim ✂️ feature no longer works. It brings up an error message: APIError [400.0]
Please fix this!Developer response
posted a year agoHi there! Is this still occurring for you? If so, please open a GitHub issue so we can help diagnose this: https://github.com/AprilSylph/XKit-Rewritten/issues/new/choose - Rated 4 out of 5by Crow, 2 years agoI only recently started using it and in general it's quite useful. I could use more filtering options though. Like, is it possible to filter asks? 🥺

posted 3 years agoCheck out Palettes for Tumblr! It does the job even better than Old Blue.

- Rated 4 out of 5by anon, 4 years agoFeels like it runs quite a bit more smoothly than New XKit, which is lovely. However I do miss scripts like Anti-capitalism and Read more now. I hope to see these features added back as time goes on. Still, pretty amazing work for a single developer!
Edit: I read through the GitHub project page and noticed there are no plans for Anti-capitalism to be implemented, because uBlock Origin exists. While uBlock does block the ads themselves, there is a white box with "sponsored" on it left behind. I'd love to have an option from within XKit Rewritten to hide that.Developer response
posted 4 years agoI agree the lack of cosmetic filtering by default is a problem, so I've contributed updated filters to EasyList to hide sponsored post containers, the sponsored sidebar section, and any takeover banners; this is awaiting review by EasyList maintainers, but in the meantime you can hide sponsored post containers by enabling AdGuard Base in uBlock Origin's filter lists.
EDIT: Due to the recent frequency of Tumblr regenerating their classnames, Anti-Capitalism has now been added as a feature. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 14805790, 4 years agoIt's missing a couple things, but overall works quite well. I like how it's now hidden as an actual addon instead of a button that could disappear. I do wish with quick reblog that one could have the option to keep the previous posts tags

posted 3 years agoThis is now a thing! You can enable tag suggestions in Quick Reblog -> "Suggest tags from the post being reblogged", which suggests all tags present on the post you're reblogging, as well as the post author, original post author, and determined post type.
