- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15282866, 5 years agoGreat add-on. Browsing youtube is fun again.
It's super simple to use and the x buttons are nicely integrated in the site. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15164117, 5 years agoDoesn't work most of the times. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I just wanted to block videos to certain games that I wanted to play for myself without getting spoiled by some videos (titles and such).
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 15026558, 5 years agoBarely works, completely stopped allowing me to block channels or videos and I was still able to access so-called "blocked" channels. Rubbish.
- Rated 4 out of 5by James, 5 years agoWorks fine on new Youtube but, it doesn't work with Classic Youtube add-on, which makes it pretty useless for me.

- Rated 5 out of 5by cheetahjevams, 5 years agoits great. my home page looks absolutely amasing ive blocked nearly every talk show host childrens channle and shitty clickbait trash channles and my recommendations have become cleaner
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15213933, 5 years agoPerfect. I can finally get that cunt Afro's playlist off of my sidebar. After two months, blocking his channel didn't work, reporting and disliking the videos didn't work. But an add-on that puts a simple "X" over the playlist, that fixed it.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Deadmarsh, 5 years ago5/5 so far for me. However I would like to make a small suggestion. It would be great if exclusions could also be done by video title. There are channels I'm not interested, but I might still enjoy a video they release of a specific subject

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 13767423, 6 years agoNot much use... Worked for a day, next morning when the machine was re-booted offending videos/channels were back and the 'X' had stopped working! - It was there, it had just stopped doing anything other than flickering when clicked! - It's also not easy (or maybe not possible) to get it to just tackle YouTube's recommendations without completely blocking channels! - Just, no good... What I really need is a one-click blocker that also sends YouTube the 'not interested' message - and doesn't die after 24 hours!

otherwise would probably be 6+ out of 5 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12616237, 6 years agovideo blockerが効かなくなり、クソ動画やクソコメントにいらついていたがこのアドオンのおかげで、こびりついたクソを一掃できた。ありがとう!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14746909, 6 years agoI love it. It is really simple to use but provides room for you to get as specific as you want using regular expressions. It doesn't add unneeded garbage that you were not looking for. It's super light-weight and won't interrupt your experience or make your youtube tab crash.
I've been using it to block clickbait channels from populating my recommended section, haven't seen the words Mojo or Buzzfeed in a while and couldn't be happier about it.
5/5 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14732321, 6 years agoI managed to get this to work. You just have to be careful about what you 'input' for blocking channels. For example:
To block channel "Creators Tutorials" you must view one of their videos. Then click on the avatar/name which is on the left side of the screen, just below the actual video. That takes you to what I call their channel home page. For the this example, the url is:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2e8r3D4hXZWVhkFJGpL7QQ
So the string to enter into the channel blocker input box is: "UC2e8r3D4hXZWVhkFJGpL7QQ", not "Creators Tutorials". After that you won't be able to find their videos, unless you use a different browser.
Sorry for the clumsy dialog. I hope this helps.
PS: "Creators Tutorials" is just a channel I picked at random. No criticism intended. I just wanted to use a real example.Developer response

Blocking a channel can be done even easier:
All you have to do is to press the 'x'-Button which is placed next to the channel name.
To be even more precise, the instructions you gave do not work with our Add-on. Channels are blocked by their name, not by their id. Therefore, it is necessary to input the channel/user name, not the id of the channel/user (assuming you are blocking manually).
If you disagree with us, please contact us under yt-cleaner(at)protonmail(dot)com, so we can solve this mystery. - Rated 5 out of 5by Trafy, 6 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Anonymous, 6 years agoThis addon is great and everything but. When autoplay is on, videos from blocked channels get through. It would be awesome if the addon could clean the list generated by YouTube.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 14517161, 6 years agoWorks with New Youtube and in tandem with Enhancer for Youtube, however once finished using the utility the x-marks will stay forever, with no option to remove them until needed once again.
