USE to work without exception ... one of the best ... I SAID "USE TO" ....
nowadays, it seems the developer has opted to reroute your download to a number of ad sites (among them, several that have been Black Flagged as a potential risk) ... have deleted this app from my system and have gone onto looking for something that is a bit more friendlier - Rated 1 out of 5by JoeJupa, a month agoUnstable. You get nothing for the frame being crowded out with ads ! First time I have seen ads crammed into an extension. Not going to view your ads -- the extension doesn't work. Nothing for nothing.

We appreciate your feedback. We want to clarify that we have completely removed all ads from the extension. If you’re still seeing ads, it might be due to cached data. Please try clearing your browser cache or uninstalling and reinstalling the extension.

The interface is clunky, requiring a cut-n-paste of the URL and sometimes the recommended retry is required. But worse, stats about the video are not displayed in the file manager after the video is downloaded. It seems to play but in the player, the total time is undisplayed. It's like having a corrupted video that is unindexed.

The downloaded zip did not open. Plus, now I have this weird alert from Firefox saying I got a new Malware. Kind of strange but i'll run my antiV just in case...

posted 2 months agoThank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced.
To address your concerns:
Popup Window: Our tool uses a link input popup to process video downloads smoothly. However, we do not promote or advertise any cloud services. If you saw such a message, it may have come from a third-party influence, and we’d like to investigate further.
Downloaded File Format: Our tool downloads the video directly in the format you choose (e.g., MP4, MP3, etc.), so there is no zip file involved. If a zip file appeared, it was not generated by our tool. Please let us know more details via our support page.
Malware Alert: Our extension is thoroughly tested and free from malware. If you’re receiving such alerts, it could be unrelated to our tool. Running an antivirus scan is always a good step for security.
We’re here to help resolve any issues you face. Please reach out to us via the support menu so we can assist you further. Your feedback helps us improve, and we truly appreciate it! - Rated 1 out of 5by peterpan56, 3 months agoThis is not an extension. It is a hyperlink to a page that does not download videos from Youtube

- Rated 1 out of 5by TS, 3 months agoThis isn't an add-on. As far as I can tell, it doesn't bring anything to the browser. By digging through the permissions, it tells you a website to visit where you paste a video link to download. I can visit the site just as easy after uninstalling the add-on. It doesn't even work particularly well. "Save your favorite YouTube videos in seconds" my butt.
