The longer the extension is opened the more memory it takes. Browser without this extension switched on takes 600MB memory and after switching it on takes 2600MB. This should be investigated. Users are complaining about that sinco at least 2022.

Ansonsten ist die Erweiterung aber top.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5by Peter Yates, hace 2 mesesGood overall. The interface is a bit clunky in parts, especially since the copy buttons for password/OTP code were removed from the list. Still, wouldn't be without it.

Previously, clicking the entire rectangle of a Vault entry, would autofill on the page. Now, clicking the rectangle opens the "edit" section. And now we need to click a tiny "Fill" button instead. This seems...backwards? The thing you are doing most often is wanting to fill/autofill. Editing is not the typical action, almost certainly. Why not give us an option to reverse this? Make "fill" be the thing that happens when you click anywhere on an entry, and make a tiny button that says "edit" - like how it used to be. Other than that, I don't have any real complaints about the UI changes - but it's a pretty major one.

Allows you to save logins and other personal information in several different formats, and add custom fields to any login (which can be visible or hidden). This is a "must have" feature for me that some other password managers lack.
My only complaint is that after a recent update, Bitwarden has been a bit buggy, and sometimes you have to save logins twice after editing them before the updated information shows up. However, I mostly use the desktop app so idk if this issue is common for the browser extension too. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Gloi, hace 3 mesesCan you add hiding/censor of the email when the vault is locked for the current user?
Other than that the extension is great. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Razoner, hace 3 mesesThis Bitwarden extension does what I need it to, but I liked the old UI from 1-2 months more than the redesign. The redesign has made it more difficult to autofill my passwords and edit my logins.

Otherwise, it's a great password manager, thank you! - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Mraedis, hace 4 mesesWould be 4 or 5 stars but the recent UI changes made it slower to use (more clicks) which for a tool you use a lot makes zero sense.
Update: thanks for the response, I've edited the review to reflect these settings. Still missing a quick copy for the TOTP codes though.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 3 mesesHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Gokul C, hace 4 meses

- Se valoró con 4 de 5by Bart, hace 4 mesesFill button is a disaster, NEVER change muscle memory behavior! Maybe change the Fill button to Edit button. This will make the edit fuctionality quickly available. But the main goal for a password manager is filling user/password combination. So default behavior should be kept as it was before !
With this Fill disaster change reverted, 5 stars rating will also be restored - Se valoró con 4 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 18754789, hace 4 mesesThe interface update was a mistake. Please put the "copy username" and "copy password" buttons back the way they were. You guys added clicks instead of removing them. This is interface 101: reduce clicks.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5by Usuario de Firefox 18008698, hace 4 mesesThe best password manager in my opinion, but not the biggest fan of the recent redesign. The most often used functions now have an additional step to access, like copying password or username only, and autofill is now a small button instead of just clicking anywhere on the item. The default view also puts cards and identities (being less likely to autofill) behind yet another couple clicks to filter for those.
While the appearance is nicer, the user experience is definitely worse with this update.
