Great, it cleans the links nicely! (If you click on something, e.g. a page that opens in a new tab, it appears clean, i.e. without tracking and other codes : )
If the privacy parts* are true (and in principle they are, otherwise it wouldn't be here : )
then it's a great plugin.
Google / chromium removed it in a mean way, but there "Linkumori (URLs Cleaner) - formerly Neat URL" solves this or you can install it manually: github ClearURLs/Addon/releases

Literally no reason not to install. Claw back a bit of personal online privacy.

One of the essentials if you dont want to be traced on internet if you share links, however it lacks one thing: it does not remove tracking from the "share" button on youtube. For that you need the tiny addon called "Youtube clean share" aswell, that tiny little addon together with this is the essentials that give you a complete package for safe private sharing of links if you for example use VPN and desire privacy when you share links like youtube videos that sneak in embedded tracking code.

I tried a few uBO filters, but nothing really stood in for this.
