por LT Smash, hace 6 añosWorked just fine for a couple months, then Firefox quarantined it (when it was still named Dark Mode and wasn't recommended yet), this message appears below the disabled and locked out "Dark Mode" :
Dark Theme (Malware) has been blocked for your protection.
Why was it blocked?
This add-on violates Mozilla's ad-don policies by using obfuscated code.
What does this mean?
The problematic add-on or plugin will be automatically disabled and no longer usable.
When Mozilla becomes aware of add-ons, plugins, or other third-party software that seriously compromises Firefox security, stability, or performance and meets certain criteria, the software may be blocked from general use. For more information, please read this support article.
Blocked on Feb 28, 2020. View block request.

Now I'm using the slightly inferior Dark Night Mode add-on, because I can't stand all that LED light at night, especially that harmful blue wave we experience that seriously messes with the circadian rhythm/sleep cycle (like those new LED streetlights, im glad my city still mostly just has the orange sodium lights and hope the newfound harmful health effects slow down the deployment of that even worse light pollution).
Mr. Shutau, can I trust your new "Dark Reader" or will it attempt to inject malicious code sometime in the future? I really liked your "Dark Mode", but using Debian Linux, I was surprised to see the word Malware in my add-ons when I went to the Add-Ons menu when I noticed the extension stopped working and the icon disappeared from my toolbar.
If an explanation of what happened here can be obtained, I'd love to see it...

last update broke something - it slows down the browser and firefox asks if i want to stop this extension - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13848868, hace 5 díasI've been using Dark Reader for years, but now it slows down and even hangs my browser. When I use Firefox Settings to set backgrounds to black, I lose highlighting effects. Absence of a working dark mode could cause me to abandon Firefox. :-(

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Alphonse, hace 6 díasEfficiently renders webpages as dark by altering elements directly (by default). Very effective at eliminating bright backgrounds no matter the source. Interface is a bit clunky with four subpages to sift through, and verbiage a bit confusing. Can rarely unintentionally hide elements from sight, so double-check a page with it disabled in case anything is missing.

rate: a must have daily browsing tool for dark mode users - Se valoró con 5 de 5por VOIIIXI, hace 10 díasThe best dark mode add-on there is and nothing else comes close, visually it's brilliant! it dynamically and intelligently changes any page to look great depending on the different sites. I haven't seen one site that looks bad with it. The only problem is the performance hit on certain sites where it causes some slow downs, But it's so good that I don't really mind it that much.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Exostenza, hace 12 díasIt's mostly really good but on the occasional site, like Aliexpress, I need to disable it and then enable it for it to display the page correctly. I don't understand it as it is still using the same filter when I cycle it but for some reason it has to be done to a few sites to display properly. Other than that this is a must have as while backgrounds are eyeball destroyers.
