publicado el hace 8 añosHello,
Location Guard needs to be able to modify the javascript geolocation API for any webpage. There is no way to do so other than using the generic permission to "Access your data for all websites".
This does not mean that Location Guard reads your data. The extension is open source and reviewed by Mozilla, any malicious behaviour would be easily detected.
Note that the "Access your data for all websites" is standard for most addons, it's hard to do anything without it. Ghostery, for instance, is one of the most well known addons for privacy and does use it. Same for uBlock, AdBlock Plus, etc.

If it doesn't work for you on a specific page, that's because the page doesn't rely on the information provided by the browser, but instead checks your IP (or that of your VPN etc) and a few other location sources more aggressively than other pages. There's nothing this (or any other) extension can do about that. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14280591, hace 3 mesesDoesn't work. Please use a different plugin. This doesn't work at all anymore.

What I would need is to have some fixed "favorite" fake locations. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por xzilla, hace 2 años
