Starting with version 3.2.4, audio should not be muted on any websites, and audio recording should work perfectly almost everywhere, including basically all video players.

Thank you developers for this add-on, cause it really sucked to not have normal song identifier in Firefox.

Don't know how to answer normally, so I'll just update my review.
Well that's interesting, because from my side, only thing that I did was turning off then on add-on. Actually at add-ons manager at firefox, it's saying: "Last Updated July 7, 2025", so I thought that something changed from your side.Respuesta del desarrollador

Edit: we had updated the extension description, but not the extension itself.

There is a known issue where it mutes your tab after searching for a song, which hasn't been fixed for months.

Definitely wasn't the case of abandoning the extension or using it for advertising a service; it's just incredibly tricky to get audio recording working on Firefox, as the browser doesn't support direct audio capture from the tab. But these days for some reason youtube and other video formats lose all sound whenever I try to use the extension. And need to be refreshed to get sound again.
Additionally the Reddit video player (cursed be its name) doesn't work too well with it and it can't recognise the sound from it.Respuesta del desarrollador

BUT, JFYI, song recognition on some sites, like twitch is PAID and on some other sites (like top-radio.ru) it is just dont working ("start error: can't find any unpaused media elements", its said)..Respuesta del desarrollador

What happened was that we tried to fix audio recording that basically stopped working on YouTube and many other websites, but introduced a bug that prevented audio from being played back.
