Due to the way browser extensions like this one operate, there are certain technical limitations when it comes to boosting audio on some websites. This is not unique to our extension — if you try most other volume booster extensions on the market, you will likely encounter the same issue.

The problem is caused by DRM protections and the browser engine itself. Certain websites, including Bandcamp and other DRM-protected platforms, restrict how audio can be processed by extensions. The only way around these restrictions would be to bypass or break DRM protections, which is something we cannot do for legal reasons.

Because of this, the extension may not function correctly on heavily DRM-protected websites. However, it works properly on websites that do not enforce such strict DRM limitations.
