I mean, we all double-click stuff all the time, but how many times have you meant to check the definition of the text rather than just copy it or something?

I think it has to do with integration; that is, if the Firefox team created a built-into the browser version, rather than it being an add-on or extension, it would be more fluid. Since Chrome Browser has built-in spell check, I'm guessing it has some connection to that interface type. Why else would their pop-up results be so instant? No really, why?

The only thing that *really* bothers me is if you double click on a plural word you are only told "plural form of (whatever word you double clicked)". If I'm double clicking a word, it's not because I'm confused by the presence of an 's' at the end of it, it's because I would like to see the definition of the root word. So frustrating!
Developers, please fix this!! - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Nils Trieu, hace 7 añosPlease give us an option of metakey (cmd, ctrl, alt, shift) that is required to press before the popup appears. Thank you for an excellent extension!

Only problem: the "more" open a page with nothing. When I select a word in the page, please pass it to the definition window. Please, add a saving option, to save my words/definition, or an annotation. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14301712, hace 7 años

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por metal321, hace 7 añosThought it would work by highlighting the word. Didn't realized you had to double click.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 14151545, hace 7 añosWhile it is already good, it could be the best if it had history feature for the words(similar to Google Dictionary).

- selection – other than by double click
- hot-key activation / open with a bubble . . .
- contextual menu
- history
- define the position and the dimensions of the pop-up
Sometimes, reinstalling solves some problems. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Tom Kunzo, hace 7 añosIt's good except for the fact that the dictionary used is not giving a really clear definition of the words to be checked.
I suggest using the Oxford Dictionary for your app. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por scottobob, hace 7 añosWorks well, but I don't like the fact that a large popup blocks the page whenever I double click a word.
Better alternatives for me would be getting the popup from the right-click context menu, or maybe by clicking on a small bubble that appears after double clicking (like with some of the translator add-ons). - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13522774, hace 7 años

The only sore point for me is the need to double click a word to highlight it, which is less practical (IMHO) than a selecting a word with the mouse and getting to see its meaning via the context menu. Some websites, including news outlets, set up scripts to show popups on double click, which is why a context menu option is more desirable in such cases. I hope the developers introduce this option in later versions.
