por Nihilissmis, hace 6 añosI migrated from KeePass 2 and KeePass-http on Firefox (78.0.2) to KeePassXC 2.6.0/KeePassXc-browser 1.6.6. as this was more actively supported. Over half (no exaggeration) of websites with passwords stored, now come up with 'No logins found'. As suggested in the bug report, I rolled back to previous version (2.5.4), but I still have the same issue. Would be very happy to come back and change my review when this is sorted as it looks very promising when it would be working, which it currently is not for me.
Update 29/7: It seems that a lot of URL fields are filled with 13 digit numbers, instead of URLs. I'm trying to find a backup of my keepass to see if this was like that before. Does this ring any bells for anyone? Thanks!

publicado el hace 6 añosYou're probably affected by URL scheme handling. Old KeePassHTTP didn't care if the scheme was http or https. KeePassXC does. You'll have to either change all URL's to use proper schemes, e.g. https://example.com or disable the setting "Match URL scheme" under Browser Integration settings. If this doesn't solve it, please make an issue to GitHub. Thanks!

Then open it. Prompt me for the database password. Why can the DB be opened on demand to retrieve passwords, but not to save them? I should not be expected to keep my database open all the time. That is an obvious security vulnerability. So I have it configured to close after 30 seconds. I do not understand why this Addon is so hostile to on-demand database access.Respuesta del desarrollador

One remark: though firefox now honors XDG config settings in $HOME/.config/mozilla/firefox (on Linux) the extension creates a $HOME/.mozilla/native-messaging-hosts. I'd like so see all config for an application on one single place only. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 12539057, hace 2 meses

publicado el hace 2 mesesActually there's already pull requests made for a websocket connection mode in both extension and KeePassXC. It works with Flatpak browsers. So it's coming :) - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Matthieu, hace 2 meses
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Abdiel, hace 2 mesesIt only has offline support. On Linux the configuration is a mess. Sometimes It doesn't talk with my desktop app. Remote support should also be added, so 1 star. I also noticed this while using it: not everything is handled within the browser. When the master password is requested, It switches to the KeepassXC desktop window which makes the experience less convenient. MasterPassword could instead be entered through a small pop-up inside the browser. This is what I would have preferred.

publicado el hace 2 mesesThe whole idea of the extension is that it talks to the desktop app. It has no direct connection to your database, and it will never ask your master password. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por toorootoot, hace 2 meses

I know this depends of Keepassxc development, but it would be nice if card info can be stored. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por elsenfox, hace 5 meses
