por acorbin91, hace 8 añosThis addon is getting worse and worse... I don't know why the dev is wasting his time on these stupid workarounds for the tab hiding issue.... Firefox added the ability to hide tabs weeks ago, stop fucking around with these idiotic workarounds and implement it properly. These idiotic workarounds are just making the plugin do some really erratic shit. For example: https://i.imgur.com/7oWdnuj.png
I did not create a single one of those groups. So now in addition to randomly creating groups (which it started doing a week go or so), now it seems to be populating some of them with tabs from sessions that ended a long time ago. I did not have those 86 or 116 tabs open the last time I closed Firefox. There are even duplicates in those two groups... I don't know where or how the fuck this addon decided to create those groups and populate them with tabs that I closed days ago, but there you have it...
You should go back to how you had the addon 3-4 weeks ago, and then focus only on writing in the tab hiding functionality. All this crazy shit you're trying to do with closing tabs and then reloading them with the moz-extension bullshit is not working at all, and it was a pretty stupid workaround to begin with.

Now every time you open FF after closing it, some of the tab groups are in different windows, some might be empty, and the backups just aren't there. This extension has totally lost its purpose as being able to save what you're doing through restarts.

- Se valoró con 4 de 5por antonavy, hace 2 mesesIt's really a good option for the lack of a better one... It gets the job done by hiding tabs from other "workspaces" into the hidden tabs list. Didn't notice a lot of bugs.
But a few things that really push me to use other browsers: it's not as elegant, very simple design, doesn't feel native and natural (compared to vivaldi, arc, zen, opera, etc); and two very annoying things: tab groups don't hidden, but are kinda empty, but still show previews, which brakes immersion and the fact that it spawns a directory every single day in your home folder ("STG-..."), and never cleans it up. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Ron Elicit, hace 2 mesesMy favorite browser extension, hands down. Yes, the last Firefox update broke it. Need your tabs back? Settings > Backup Your Simple Tab Groups > Enable Auto-backup (you should be doing this anyway). Then Restore Backup every time you relaunch Firefox. (I delete existing data and revert to my last save.)
That's how I'm managing until the maintainer updates this extension. (Based on their location in Ukraine, I'm willing to give them some slack.) - Se valoró con 4 de 5por CarlosTorch, hace 2 meses
