Does absolutely nothing. Reported to FF

It simply does not work and does not do anything

Nothing happens upon click on the right-click menu item

It's not working in my mac air, I am using firefox.

This Add-in does not work at all.
Today I suddenly realized that this Add-in does not count anything. Compared to the word app, it always has mistakes. As a writer, my job depends on counting words. So this add-in created lots of problems for me today.
You had one job Word Count, one job!

I know a more accurate way.

Cannot get result on any web page: have restarted Firefox, notifications are allowed and my Mac is not in Do Not Disturb mode. Does not matter what page I am on or how much text I highlight; when I right click, Word Count appears, I click on it, and nothing at all happens.

Not working for me. I hear a three-toned chime when I click on "word count" but nothing appears.

kept capping the count at 2927 words, no matter how many words on the page

I have a long document (71 page/25321 words, when I made a control count in a word processor) for which the Word Count addition reported that the page contained 2497 words.

Thus, unfortunately, I must deem this addon to be unreliable for my use.

I did of course select the entire text. (I used the shortcut Cmd + A in Firefox for macOS.)
