    For years AdBlock the free version worked very well for me. Now with a new computer it no longer works at all. So I bought the premium adblock version. Ads are still appearing on youtube. Yes, I have done the the General and and advanced setting procedures as recommended. I hate the ads... Is adblock loosing the ad-war or em I missing something?

    it doesnt stop adverts on youtube or any of the other video content providers ive tried it with, what it does is this; often it opens another window and ask you for money so it doesnt open up that window in the future, the people who are giving this app 5* probably gave Ticktock 5* ratings as well. i gave it 2* becasue it was easy to uninstall, often these trype of money demanding apps are almost impossible to uninstall, so for that reason they get 2* from me,

    mostly works aside from video ads, but for some reason they think they're entitled to nagging me with popups for money. it isn't that difficult to block ads, I've uninstalled and moved on.

    frequent popup tabs begging for money defeats the purpose of the goddamn addon. it was fine when it was every few months but the current frequency has me disabling this. CUT IT OUT

You can opt-out with these steps: 1) Click the AdBlock icon on your browser toolbar. 2) Click the gear icon. 3) Select the Filter Lists tab. 4) De-select the Acceptable Ads option.     "chegou no firefox" SEMPRE existiu para firefox, demorou mesmo pra chegar pro chrome que veio só 7 anos depois da versão do fire.

    o certo é falar que voltou para o firefox, pois viram que o navegador nutellinha da google ta flopando, que o povo sem noção demora pra perceber algo que a gente percebe no primeiro dia.

    It seems that the software has become almost as annoying as the spam it is supposed to prevent. It can't be that almost every day that I open the browser it takes me to a page that asks for payment. There was a point where I considered purchasing the premium package but decided not to due to the many times the program asked for payment. Just excessive! In the meantime I deleted and moved on to something else.

    They promise "Surf the web without annoying ads!", they fail to deliver, it keep spanning you with own ads, moving features into premium and asking you for money. Better switch to ublockorigin or any clean fork

    For people who's mission is "is to create a worry-free and distraction-free internet" they do like to distract you by interrupting whatever you are doing to ask for a donation. This seems to happen about every 4th time I open firefox, usually a few minutes into the session - so just as I am starting to type or interact with something.
    On the plus side it does stop ads, so if you can cope with the relentless demands for a contribution for this "free" add-on this may be for you....

    Haven't even had this for an hour, but it doesn't block ads on picrew. I deleted my old adblocker and installed this one hoping it would block picrew ads, instead, it doesn't even recognize them as ads, even when I click on them to specifically be disabled.
