This works fine on FF57a. Would be great if the output included the diagonal measurement in addition to width and height.

Good idea. I've added it at https://github.com/ianwremmel/browser-ruler/issues/22

Just out of curiosity, what's your use-case? I've not come across that need myself (but then, I haven't been doing UI work for a while either).
