An sich ein wirklich klasse AddOn, was Webseiten definitiv zu schaffen macht.
Leider bremmst es den Browser je nach Seite extrem aus.
Gerade Karten-Webseiten wie z.B. Google Maps sind teilweise unbenutzbar, wenn der CanvasBlocker zuschlägt.

Der Blocker von Firefox selbst, ist hier etwas harmloser, dafür aber auch von der Block-Qualität schlechter.

I love this extension! However its a bit hard to use, because you have to uninstall, and reinstall the extension to open up the easy to use settings picker. If you change your settings as often as I do, if not then this is an easy 5/5 extension.

the addon prevents "youtube comment search" addon from working

is there a way to fix this, without having to turn canvasblocker off each time?

or even better: can i block or unblock each element separately, until i find the culprit? (the way "NoScript" addon visualized this is very beginner userfriendly)

on canvasblocker.kkapsner.de/test/test.html this add-on change everythings except "offscreen Worker Test" the value always same after refresh and causes they still track you. i hope developer fix it

Damages Linkedin, as other comments here and on github have noted. Enable 'Advanced' settings and add Linkedin.com to the whitelist and all is well again. Do NOT alter any other settings unless you want your browser vulnerable to the noted exploit mentioned in the FAQ.

Overall works well BUT, when protecting Navigator (choosing a different OS or browser, any of the 2) it is caught by https://iphey.com/

not perfect, but it helps, especially if it is used with other addons, it still doesn't randomize your fingerprint like BRAVE does, only BRAVE gets 3 yes's on EFF's 'cover your tracks' (Ads, Trackers, Fingerprints), or, this addon, with Ublock Origin, Privacy Badger, Local CDN and NoScript (is what I use on Librewolf) gets you all 3 yes's on EFF (1 in 900, so 'common as muck' fingerprint, and unable to track & trace through fingerprinting)

Dear developer! Add-on has an issue. Faking=>Random number generator=> 'persistent' and 'constant' options don't work both! Please fix that or maybe I have to apply some browser settings?
Also preset parameters option doesn't appear.
I use Android versions of Firefox nightly or Fennec.

As far as i know it worked fine for me so far, but i started using Google Sheets and it kill the performance. Very laggy and slow sheets.
When i disabled this extension it started to scroll smooth as a kitty.

Update: disabling the extension on the site fixed the issue.

I've been using this extension for quite a long while and it was working fine, but recently it has created trouble with ebay.co.uk on my laptop. I cannot navigate on eBay. I got the following error message: CanvasBlocker is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser stop that extension.
