I spent a lot of time finding a free and smart read aloud tool. This one fulfilled my requirements the best. All other tools I tried had problem switching between languages within sentences and messed up the pronunciation when a word of another language was written as is in another lanuage. This one made that transition very smooth whereas other tools made listening discomforting in those parts. It is simple and does the job it tries to do wonderfully. Google has gemini but it does not use it to make read aloud better and smart in chrome so it could get the context and read smartly.
P.S - It would be really nice if it highlighted the part where it is reading and more importantly, allowed to toggle what it is reading because currently it just allows to pause/play and adjust speed.

captcha dies if you run addblockers which sucks. besides that it seems to have the best voices off all free products.

Hasta ahora me ha sorprendido gratamente. Pensé que como la mayoría solo dejaría utilizarlo con pocos caracteres pero parece que puede leer todo el texto que quieras y con voces muy humanas.
Ojalá se pudieran subir PDF y que resaltara el texto mientras lee, pero lo recomiendo mucho. Lástima que es con el vendido Google con la Big Tech.

Hey, this is pretty good. I didn't think I'd find a good and quick text to speech add-on for Firefox. Usually I'd have to use speechify but this starts up in an instant with a clear voice, tone, and adjustable speed. Good Job fam.

Amazing extension

This is an excellent API. Simple and efficient. The issue is the constant timeouts. All the recommended TS fail. It cannot even reach three lines of text2speech without timing out with an error. I know it is not my connection; it is Google, since the Gemini API works super fast.

The voices are amazing, the downloads are the icing on the cake
