Not able to add connected database. Nothing happens when clicking the Connect Database button. Bazzite 43 (linux) NVIDIA edition, Firefox 149, KeePassXC 2.7.12

The addon randomly shows errors like "KeePassXC-Browser has encountered an error: Key exchange was not successful" which means absolutely nothing to the user and does not help solve the problem in any way. It is the same as showing a message "Error: There has been an error. You're unlucky, too bad for you."

it doesn't work when the password is on another page after the email. it always puts the wrong password from another account without even asking which account. developers, add a dropdown to ask the user from which account to take the password, don't just put any random password from any random account in the database. changing any setting didn't fix this.

Currently completely broken with more restrictive privacy configurations due to a bug (#2672) that was reported over two months ago and patched over a month ago - and still not released.

I would have thought show stopping bugs would be worth a point release, but apparently not.

All of a sudden the connection between the extension and the app has broken and the extension doesn't function in any useful way. I'm surmising it's something to do with an update to Firefox to version 143.0.

This does not work at all. I am on Github login page with an open KeepassXC database that has an entry with given URL exactly at it appears in brower with /login and still it says "Error: no logins found. (github url but without /login)"

edit: i'm using the exact URL of github login page, with https, exactly as it appears in browser.

As other users have mentioned, on ubuntu derived distributions this extension works with native browsers but not any browsers installed via snap or flatpak. This is a very problematic flaw on any ubuntu-related operating system! Unfortunately, it has made this extension virtually unusable for me.

Не работает из коробки. В настройках "Подключенные базы данных" при нажатии на кнопку "Подключить" ничего не происходит. Плагин по сути безполезен, сделан, по-русски, для галочки.

Unbrauchbar,lä9t sich nicht verbinden. Lösungen gibt es auch nicht,da alles in Englisch und das kann ich nicht lesen.

Can't connect to database. I'm on Linux Ubuntu (Zorin 17.1) with up-to-date versions of both Firefox and Keepass desktop app and the extension. Still won't connect, on multiple tries.

Doesn't work with snap.

This add-on does not link with the KeePassXC app (v2.7.9) on Linux Mint 21.2.
It has been like that for 2 years !!!

I just do not get it running on my Ubuntu 22.04. Firefox. I tried all suggestions, even about not installing it as snap. It just does not work, maybe because it is difficult to install Firefox not as snap

If your browser is sandboxed with Snap or Flatpak, this extension does not work. It's not fixable as the required integration breaks the sandbox and so won't be allowed. If you have a browser installed on your host computer (i.e. native, not sandboxed) then there is no problem with this extension. But since Firefox is now ONLY supplied as Flatpak or Snaps on Ubuntu, this effectively locks out all Linux users from using KeepassXC.

But it has everything to do with the extension. It is designed in a way that is simply incompatible with the security model of a sandboxed browser. Nothing about the sandbox is "broken", the kind of code execution required by the extension and the server is what a sandbox is designed to prevent. This is exactly what a malicious extension would do to break out of the sandbox. The team should be working on this, or else users will just abandon the project. I'm certainly not going to try to convince Ubuntu that Snap is broken on your behalf, I'm just going to install something else that works.

Addon doesnt connect to Database - German version - you can click on the buttom but nothing else - no popup, no window on how to connect. I disabled it and went back to native Keepass. Firefox 122.0.1, KeePassXC 2.7.6.

Can't integrate KeePassXC_Browser with KeePassXC on Linux Mint.
