It's very useful.

However, the preview window is currently displayed in the same tab, so it's a bit inconvenient that it hides the contents of the main screen.

It would be even more useful if there was a function to pop out the preview window as a separate window.

Pretty good, but extremely frustrating activation method. Please, make the usual right-click menu item or something else, but less distracting!

Very handy to review a long list of links.

Note: the preview pops-up only moving the mouse over the little icon.

Once appeared on the side, it will update the content hoovering on a different link.

it does work. though instead of a preview, it shows you the fully functioning whole page of the link.

Nearly perfect for my usage.
Just annoying when accidentaly hovering link.
I made a version of this module with the need to click the icon to open preview.

Simple Link Preview was working great, but it stopped working after I upgraded to FireFox 106.0 (64-bit)* under Windows 10 Pro 21H1. No SLP icon appears when I hover over any URL.

Any suggestions? Any known conflicts with other FF extensions?

*I don't recall my previous FF version.

Update 11/18/2022 -- SLP still not working with latest FF 107.0 (64-bit) under Windows 10 Pro 22H2. Removed and re-added SLP, but no icon appears when I hover over any URL.

Fine! It works like an old cool-preview!

Great add-on! But limited customizability is disappointing.
1. Let user change time before the icon appears.
2. Add "Hold the Alt key while clicking a link" to preview links.
3. Add option to zoom in/out of previewed page.
4. Remember zoom factor and window size for specific domains.
5. Hide previewed page instantly, when clicking outside of it.

Only link preview I found that worked on any site.

The is THE greatest add on ever. Ok, possibly overstated, But it is one of the reasons I use Firefox over Chrome. Firefox also crushes Chrome now in many ways, but still, I love this add on!

I was using coolpreviews but that got shutdown, but this one is almost similiar. is this open source,as well.

I was looking for an app like this for long time after they discontinues coolpreviews my favor app
