This add-on is basically dead. Used to be good.

Recommendations show up on the screen at the end of a video since the YouTube update. Please fix

This hasn't been updated for a year now, and in the world of YouTube where Google is constantly making change to API breaking things, one year might as well be a lifetime.

I had to disable this add-on because it was causing issues with UI, messing up the video player.

Hasn't been updated in over a year. I loved this program for a long time now, but I had to uninstall it as it won't be updated to support new features or remove bugs.

Developer does not respond to support claims. Extension is breaking slowly by slowly, extension is not being updated and more and more features are starting to break.

Unhook is incredibly effective at removing YouTube distractions, significantly improving focus. The core functionality is brilliant and much appreciated.

However, I'm giving it 1 star due to a critical issue: it is closed-source. This lack of transparency is a major concern. We, the users, cannot verify the code we are running in our browsers. This presents potential security and privacy risks, as there's no way to audit the extension for hidden tracking or malicious behaviour. Trust requires transparency.

I genuinely love what this extension does, and I would instantly change my rating to 5 stars if the developers embraced free and open-source principles.

I strongly urge other users to request this change as well. Open source is vital for user security and trust in browser extensions. Developers, please consider making Unhook open-source. The concept is fantastic, but its closed nature prevents a wholehearted recommendation.

This app appeared good but started to crash my tabs in Firefox. Beware, it might not hold up.

Currently it breaks Youtube, I can only see blank screen when it is enabled.

Apparently no more legacy support for Windows 7, which I had to find out over weeks myself while trying to find out why it stopped working from one day to the next.
