It works but when you click on videos that arent filtered it will remove everything from the page except the video. This means you cant see the video description or recommended videos at all.

Good idea, but somehow only implemented half-heartedly. The page where you can convert the channel name into the unique ID doesn't work at all! You just get a 400 error back! Also, the instructions and description are very half-hearted and minimal. How, for example, do you enter a channel name? With @ in front, or without? It would be a nice tool if it were better thought out.

Unfortunately this extensions triggers youtube's anti-adblock measures now.

works okay, but occasionally the block options do not appear in the context menu. My real problem however, is that it is not intuitive to un-block a channel after blocking it. I blocked a channel I did not mean to, and when I checked the filter options in the extentions menu, it was completely blank. Nothing I had blocked prior appeared in the filter options, so I had no way of removing it from the block list. Checking the wiki on the github provided no answers either. If there is a way to remove a channel from your blocklist, it is not apparent at all

It worked perfectly until recently. OK, the YouTube playlists were not hidden, but apart from that, very pleasant.

For two days now, two categories of videos and channels have been added that can no longer be blocked (the function is simply not available, while everything is the same for “normal” videos and channels).

The two topics that can no longer be blocked are Christian evangelical topics & FSB culture industry OPs presented by, but not limited to, western professorships.

I'm unsure if it has a limit or not but it is now no longer blocking any channel or video.
Is this addon known to conflict with any addons in particular?

Just installed and looks good so far except it's blocking videos that I didn't not flag to be blocked.

Feature request: an option to block "includes paid promotion" videos too.

Worked great for a long time, then YouTube changed something and it doesn't work at all. Hopefully the author will fix it soon.

This triggers Youtube's add blocker detection meaning you cant watch videos with it enabled. Kinda useless if you actually want to use youtube to watch videos.

Turns out it was the "Disable YouTube's audio loudness normalization" option that was triggering youtubes add block detection.

some videos/channels are randomly not showing up/not loading even though i've never blocked them.

I remember being able to use this addon to block comments, but I only see a report option nowadays.Video blocking seems to work fine though!

Comment blocking no longer working as of a recent YouTube update. Option in three-dot menu is missing. When it worked, it worked well. Hoping for an update to restore this feature soon.

It doesn't work with the YouTube Related videos side menu, probably due to a DOM blocker blocking the external side menu.

Was working, but now triggers the ad blocker warning. (with all other extensions, including the actual ad-blockers, disabled)

I also experienced this extension not working after updating to version 115 or 116 of Firefox. However, by chance, when I executed 'Clear Data' under 'Cookies and Site Data' in 'Privacy & Security,' the extension started working again. Currently, it is functioning whether I am logged in or not. Just to be sure, I restarted Firefox after executing 'Clear Data.' I suggest you all give it a try as well.

Worked perfectly until it started causing memory leak, somehow the browser used over 90% of memory. I have a lot of blocked youtubers, maybe this is the cause?

Playlists still show up whenever i search for something, how do i stop them from showing up completely?

Need android support too..
