mis en ligne : il y a 4 ansHi, I'm glad to hear you to say that. I love Firefox for Android and use it everyday, and rely on addon heavily. So I always ensure all of my addon are Android-compatible if possible. Besides, DeepL is created by lots of professional linguists with lots of super computers, which is not an ordinary developer can do... And this addon is merely using a package "igo.js" (https://github.com/shogo82148/igo-javascript) created by a Japanese "shogo82148" to analyze sentences & get the pronunciations of vocabularies. - Noté 5 sur 5par Nate, il y a 4 ansSome times it shows "もとき” instead of "げんき” for 元気. Am I missing something here? I'm mostly using this add-on in duolingo since they don't have native furigana. Thanks in advance.
Edit:
This add-on is amazing, and you are amazing. Thank you so much!Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 4 ans1. I've tested 元気 and it's furigana is correct 「げんき」, I guess the described problem occured because you used in Duolingo, which may frequently split a single vocabulary into multiple HTML elements, and this addon process the HTML elements one-by-one. This is a technical limit. 2. Such wrong furigana are maybe sometimes due to the used dictionary or igo.js, which is prepared by another software project, so it's not what I can fix. You can see the GitHub issue for detailed info for this. 3. You should use this addon for reference only, it's impossible to provide 100% correct furigana for kanji. This is technical limit, even Google's or Apple's AI can never do this 100% correctly. You should use an independent dictionary addon or app to ensure the vocabulary you want to know when in doubt. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14640841 de Firefox, il y a 5 ansA wonderful tool, very helpful. One thing (at this moment, May 2021) though, when I use it on Twitter's dark mode, it breaks slightly, the sides become white until I refresh the page, just in case it's not something you're aware of

- Noté 5 sur 5par Korken, il y a 6 ansWorks perfect and helps a lot. Sometimes there are glitches when changing the URL, sometimes had issues with Youtube and its titles being affected but it is a really helpful addon when Kanji are unkown.

I'm just a person, not a commercial company. My free time is NOT FREE. I spent my precious free and leisure time to fork / do this project is just for my personal requirements (make it works on Firefox for Android).
The screenshot you posted (https://imgur.com/g9bPTez) seems not difficult to do, but the WebExtension of Firefox for Android doesn't support context menu (right-click menu) so it's impossible to implement for Android. I also don't need it so I have no interest; and you're not my boss, never pay me any salary, even never donate me anything to buy me a $10 pasta (which is even less than 1/10 of my daily salary) for a meal. Unless yourself is just the kind of person who will volunteer implementing a function without any repaying, for a nobody giving you a 2-stars low rate. Maybe you are, but I am not. Go back to your home, please. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13654219 de Firefox, il y a 7 ans
- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14113918 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansFirst of all, thank you for the amazing work. Furiganaize is smooth and quick, without a doubt the best among the ones I used so far. There are still some issues related to one word kanjis that end up being conjuged as verbs, but I think it's good enough for everyday usage. Expecting great things from this.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Juanka Hula, il y a 7 ansAwesome. Back in the day they asked you to install a ton of stuff to make this kind of addon work. With this extension you just install it and it works.
BTW could you provide other colors for the icon? If you use a very dark or very light lw theme one of the icons (on/off) won't show. Maybe you could add a square background to it so when it's black it will have a white background and vice versa. Thank you.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 7 ansThanks. But currently I'm too busy and have no more free time to do additional tasks (You can see the GitHub link, there are still some TODOs need to be finished, include icon and bugs. If you can, feel free to push a PR). In fact, I just ported FuriganaInjectorPlusPlus into WebExtension, make it at least "basically usable" on Android as soon as possible because I really need that urgently, then I have to go back to my other works.
