- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 15154966 de Firefox, il y a 3 ansThe principle of 1 password is great. However, i find it difficult to get my relatives to use it because of the severe learning slope. The differences between the apps on various platforms make explanations difficult, and the differences between app and extensions is practically impossible to explain. Most relatives use their own local app of 1Password (6, 5 or even 4)...and migrating to the newer version is too much of an effort. People don't have enough time to spend 30-45 minutes to learn the new version, get confused because they are accustomed to the old version and things are different, and give up, trash the new version and go back to what they are accustomed to. (BTW the same reaction explains the persistence of older MS Windows OS.)

- Noté 2 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17364925 de Firefox, il y a 3 ansThis add-on used to be fine, but recently if you try to edit a password through it, it opens up the edit page on the web, instead of just doing it a pop-up for the add-on (as it used to) or through the app (which would also be fine).
I have 1password installed so I shouldn't have to do things in the web interface.Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 3 ansHi there,
Thank you for your review.
I apologize for any disruption to your workflow, when you edit an item from the pop up in your browser the expected behavior is for your 1Password app to open.
I would recommend a restart of your computer as it sounds like 1Password in your browser may be having a hard time connecting with your desktop app.
If this doesn’t help, please drop an email to support+x@1password.com where our team will assist you further :) - Noté 1 sur 5par Rob Seib, il y a 3 ansContinuous Sync problems. Extension randomly stops syncing with vault and even uninstalling and reinstalling does not sync it. Upon contacting support, they had me do a whole rigmarole with settings and log out and in, and it started syncing temporarily and then stopped again. Just give us a sync button.
When I log into the extension it opens the web vault and requires me to log into that as well. Sometimes even requires a third login to the desktop app. Requires a log in every time I edit an entry.Réponse du développeur

- Noté 1 sur 5par pottmi, il y a 3 ansThis extension is for use with a membership but 1password directs people to this extension for use with their desktop app. They have now hidden the extension for use with the desktop app. 1password seems to have turned into some click bait company.

If you still have local vaults in the desktop app, you’ll want to install 1Password Classic in your browser instead: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/
We are currently trading in standalone licenses and are offering generous discounts on 1Password memberships to users who have been using our licensed version of 1Password. Please drop an email to support@1password.com so our team can discuss the benefits :) - Noté 1 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17311319 de Firefox, il y a 3 ansDoesn't work with perpetual licenses

mis en ligne : il y a 3 ansHey,
You are correct, In order to use 1Password in your browser with a standalone license you will need to install the classic version of 1Password in your browser: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/.
We are offering generous discounts on 1Password memberships to users who have been using our licensed version of 1Password. Please drop an email to support@1password.com so our team can provide you with more details :) - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17151593 de Firefox, il y a 3 ans
- Noté 4 sur 5par roman, il y a 3 ansIt's become increasingly frustrating to use this extension in the browser. Anytime I need to autocomplete a password form it just shows the "Loading..." screen. Given you wait long enough (approx. 10 seconds) it finally shows the "Enter your password" field, but unfortunately this happens any time I interact with the extension. It is a lot faster to have the desktop app installed and just manually copy-paste credentials. What's the point of the browser extension at this point?
Edit: I've changed my review to 4 stars (from 1). It works as before when the 1Password app integration is disabled. I right clicked on the 1Password icon in the browser toolbar, selected "Settings" and turned off "Integrate with 1Password app". It's as good as new again. Surely, it shouldn't require end-user digging around in settings to make a paid product work out of the box?Réponse du développeur
