Instead of answering dissatisfied reviews with the same braindead copy-paste replies which are more insulting and annoying than anywhere in the vicinity of useful, how about you stop making a bunch of lame excuses and START MAKING AN ADD-ON THAT DOESN'T SUCK! And ditch the "premium" panhandling while you're at it!

Other completely free adblockers are about trying to provide a fully functioning, genuine adblocking solution rather than trying to profit on people looking to get rid of advertising nuisances, and these OTHER ACTUAL ADBLOCKERS HAVE NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER BLOCKING YOUTUBE ADS, so you Adblock Plus people are simply full of shit and clearly incompetent.

NO ONE ELSE IS HAVING PROBLEMS BLOCKING YOUTUBE but you, and everyone else is also far quicker to successfully counter YouTube's various crap and ever-changing bullshit terms of use, while you go on spouting nonsense about "using new strategies".

Blah, blah, blah! You're all talk and no action!

Furthermore, calling yourself an adblocker while allowing so called "acceptable ads" is an oxymoron. There is no such thing as "acceptable" ads! Nobody ever asked for ads, and ads of any kind are simply annoying - that's why people don't like them! Duh!

You are an "ad filter" at best, not an adblocker, because according to your own webpage it says that ADBLOCK PLUS IS PARTLY FINANCED BY THE ACCEPTABLE ADS INITIATIVE (See the "about" section: "How is Adblock Plus financed?"), and I don't care what the excuses are for that kind of financing. The fact remains that ADBLOCK PLUS IS COOPERATING WITH A PRO-ADVERTISING EFFORT! Adblock Plus is NOT an adblocker! Calling it an adblocker while receiving financing from any kind of pro-advertising interest is misrepresentation!

You're playing both sides and you know it.

In this day and age, people are more than capable of finding what they need, if and when they need it, using a search engine. They don't need to be "enlightened" about the supposed benefits of various bullshit products and services offered by various asshole companies that couldn't care less about quality and customer satisfaction, so f**k your sneaky spineless duality. You're not at all a part of any kind of genuine adblock solution - you're a double agent and a part of the problem.

Adblock Plus? More like BULLSHIT PLUS!

What is happening with YouTube is that we block their ads and then they find a way to circumvent our blocks and when they do, ads will show until we are able to block them again.
This is pretty much an ongoing situation and our filter list authors check daily for ads and then work on blocking them. For this reason, you may have periods while ads are showing and then they are blocked again. If you are only seeing ads on YouTube and not any other sites, that is generally what is happening.

Regarding Acceptable Ads, we believe in balancing user experience with the need for publishers to monetize their content. They are non-intrusive ads that abide to a series of criteria. Websites have to apply join the program and are judged by a committee. This ensures that all pages follow the criteria established. 

You can chose to opt-out from seeing Acceptable Ads at any time in your ABP settings.

    Getting ads from an ad blocker is absolutely preposterous. Also doesn't block half of the ads I want it to in the first place. Look for an alternative.

    Судячи з тої кількості сайтів різного ступеня сумнівності, на які я іноді заходжу і які жалібно просять мене вимкнути AdBlock, та ті тонни реклами, які я бачу на тих же сайтах в іншому бравзері без AdBlock, я цілком впевнений, що цей застосунок працює, і працює справно. Власне, це мені від нього треба і це мені в ньому подобається.

    I've uninstalled over a week ago this app due to it constantly bringing up popups about new updates, and now that I have it's bringing up popups reminding me that I have uninstalled the app. This is malware. I will report this app, and recommend others do as well. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

    Představte si, že k vám příjde cizí člověk a zakryje vám oči, protože si myslí, že může rozhodovat o tom, co a kdy můžete vidět. Máte plné ruce a nemůžete se bránit. A někdo jiný si toho všimne a příjde vám na pomoc! Mně na webu přišel pomoct AdBlock. Je to ochranný prostředek pro psychické zdraví. Díky za něj.

    What the hell is the point of an ad-block that opens it's own popup to try and get you to pay for premium every time you use your browser?

There is no obligation to upgrade and you can dismiss the page by clicking the "x" on the browser tab. You can also dismiss this page by going to the Advanced tab on your ABP settings and unchecking the box next to "Allow Adblock Plus to show occasional promotional messages."

    This will remain a 1 star until ABP decides to stop interrupting my mornings with pop-up ads. Other ad blockers have enough common sense not to CAUSE THEIR OWN POP-UP ADS. When good ad blockers like uBlock Origin update, they do it quietly without bothering the user. The people at ABP thought you wouldn't mind annoying adverts if it was from them. Advertising to me a product I already have installed is a sure sign these people do not respect users time.

    I like the ads blocking. I wish it had a way to actively save the whitelist. I keep having to re whitelist things, with an import / export of the config files.

    We appreciate your feedback. We use a system called smart allowlisting: if you do not visit a website that you have allowlisted within 7 days, it gets automatically removed from your allowlisted websites. If you visit it in 7 days, it will get renewed for another 7 days.
