Update : Kudos to Bitwarden for listening to the users and making some of the UI changes reversible. I *still* feel like the extension (and the app) are more visually cluttered and less performant, but it's back to "good enough" at least. - Noté 3 sur 5par Jeff, il y a 5 mois
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18749995 de Firefox, il y a 5 moisUpdate 2025.01.21: Updating review to 3/5 starts. There is now a setting to restore clicking on the item to fill. Updating review to 3/5 stars as only time will tell if the developer has learned to communicate out major, workflow breaking changes before they make them but things seem like they may be headed in the correct direction for now.
The latest update to the extension added a ton of complexity and clicks to what should be simple password management and form filling. I guess unless this gets fixed I will be canceling my annual subscription renewal and would encourage anyone else to do so as well since money talk.sRéponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 5 moisHi. Mare sure you are on version 2024.12.4 or above, then check under Bitwarden Settings > Autofill > "Click items to autofill on Vault view" and Bitwarden Settings > Appearance > "Show quick copy actions on Vault" if you want to restore previous functionality that you may prefer. - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17537415 de Firefox, il y a 5 moisLast update is a downgrade on my usage workflow. It used to have a separated link/button for user or password copy and now there is a inline menu to show which one you need to copy. It is one more click needed against the claimed user experience update.
- Noté 3 sur 5par AlHanley, il y a 6 moisFantastic features and functionality but the new UI is awful. I'll change my rating to 5 stars once they fix it or revert it.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 16392067 de Firefox, il y a 6 moisFor the most part it's great, but I can't give 5 stars when they take a great UI and change it up and make it look like it's from 2008.
- Noté 3 sur 5par apiontek, il y a 6 moisI love Bitwarden BUT how many dang times do I need to re-login and re-set an unlock PIN etc? It seems like every time the extension gets updated or something I have to re-setup half my settings. What gives??
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18747589 de Firefox, il y a 6 moisVery good password manager, but the new UI sucks and I had to downgrade. I have to find a small button before filling and why making the filling elements and all my passwords in one place?

However new round design is still shit
Dislike the new design and UX. Why do I have to find Fill button to just fill with selected credentials instead of simply clicking on whole element? Why do I have to make one more click to copy password or username?
Username is less contrast than before. Letters are a lot less readable.
So many more terrible UI and UX decisions made.
Enshittification is real.Réponse du développeur

L'ajout du bouton "remplir" est inutile et surcharge l'interface, j'enlève 2 étoiles pour la nouvelle apparence, sauf si je peux revenir à l'ancienne ?

- Noté 3 sur 5par ArtX, il y a 6 moisThis new passphrase generator that only lets you generate 6 words or more is absolutely dreadful. They've said it's by design, so now I'm questioning whether or not to keep it. Half the sites we use won't accept a passphrase that long, so it's very difficult to manually shorten each password.

- Noté 3 sur 5par S.H, il y a 7 moisHave started using today. While password generation is consistently doable not like the Firefox built-in, theres way too many disgusting inconveniences, such as:
1: When updating password and the old one is required, it overwrites either the old or new one, so I have to copy/paste either one
2: (Particularly) when deleting password a confirmation pop-up always appears, though its not a permanent deletion (it only sends to Trash folder)
3: When re-generating password by pressing the recycle button, the method pop-up always appears though its already set (Takes extra time for 0 reason)
4: Shows passwords in Trash folder as an autofill option
5: Cant hover folders
6: When trying to edit passwords, I have to press twice: View then Edit. Bothering
Literally overrated. Looking for replacement
Update: After using a few days I began to feel like its not that bad. Customizable password generation and being able to use folders (Firefox cant) is at least neat.
Actual password autofill function is far behind firefoxes own manager.
cant detect extension logins, so wont save, and wont autofill etc - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17467820 de Firefox, il y a 8 moisNew versions don't support autofill. This used to be foolproof, but now it's always copy/paste for almost EVERY login. Huge inconvenience that shouldn't happen. Used to be so much better...
- Noté 3 sur 5par Christopher, il y a 8 moisBiometric unlock of this extension is broken, making it very difficult to use BitWarden in Firefox
- Noté 3 sur 5par desman, il y a 9 moisDoesn't work if server is inaccessible. Why does it try to log in with every use? It has cache, doesn't it?
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13660064 de Firefox, il y a 9 moisDespite repeatedly checking/clearing/resetting the "Ctrl+Shift+L" keyboard shortcut the autofill is still flaky... isn't this like a core feature? Why is it so broken?
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14443390 de Firefox, il y a 9 moisThe auto-fill function does not work well for me. Not sure why. Other wise, I like it.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Chewie, il y a 9 moisGreat Idea but glitches out on webpages. tries to enter log in info under zip, address, ect basically any place you can type it will try and fill out with passwords.
