- Noté 3 sur 5par whaley, il y a 4 ansThis is great for the tabs on the sidebar, but the tabs across the top of the page are white except for the active tab. I receive a message about bugzilla, but cannot fix it.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13686061 de Firefox, il y a 5 ansWas a once great extension. Now I'm seeing really annoying behaviors. For one, the color of the tabs constantly change in Windows. In Linux it causes it to rapidly jump from one tab to another. I understand that this may not be entirely the developers fault. Part of it is the buggy framework Mozilla has set up for extensions, which is unfortunate. What separated Firefox from other browsers used to be my ability to customize Firefox to work the way I want to. As it stands now, other once great extensions no longer work correctly or are severely crippled. Not sure why I should continue to use Firefox over Chrome
- Noté 3 sur 5par Чувак, il y a 5 ansIf tab bar move to bottom screen (use userChrome.css) and
@-moz-document url("chrome://browser/content/browser.xhtml") {
:root:not([inFullscreen]) #browser { margin-bottom: 28px; }
:root:not([inFullscreen]) #TabsToolbar { position: fixed; display: flex; bottom: 0px; width: 100%; }
#tabbrowser-tabs { flex-grow: 1; }
#tabbrowser-tabs > .tabbrowser-arrowscrollbox { width: -moz-available }
#TabsToolbar-customization-target { width: 100%; }
.toolbar-items { width: 100%; }
}
addons dont work. - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 15213244 de Firefox, il y a 6 ansTabs aren't colored as shown on screenshot. Probably something must be fixed?

- Noté 3 sur 5par maxmai, il y a 6 ansWorked well until I "upgraded" to FF 65 - now just shows one color across all tabs.
- Noté 3 sur 5par misakitchi, il y a 6 ansThanks!
But can you do a version compatible with TST (Tree Style Tab)? :)
Because it broke identation of tabs... :( - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14242605 de Firefox, il y a 7 ans
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13428860 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansI got a notice about updating Colorful Notes and thought it would bring back the original experience, but although it appears to be making progress toward that and brought up a *side bar* with all the open tabs shown in different colors, alas! the top of my browser where the tabs all appear in a row still only colors the current tab along with my bookmarks toolbar. All the rest of the tabs remain white. Is there something--other than installing the new Colorful Tabs--that I need to do to get the desired effect?
Needless to say, the value of the original way all the tabs had their own colors was more useful (not to mention, attractive, which is important to me). I really appreciate the creator's efforts and hope he will continue them and get back to what we once had. But I realize that the programming underlying Quantum is so different from that of the previous FireFox that it may be a hard (hopefully, not impossible) task.
Meanwhile, I'm with "Piecevcake". - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14094819 de Firefox, il y a 7 anshard to find instructions on how to use
- Noté 3 sur 5par FTodd1, il y a 7 ansLoved the old version, but the new version for quantum just does not do it well. Not blaming the developer per se I think it's a limitation with quantum. Before I like the multi-colored tabs, and the option to highlight in yellow or blink active tab. Old version 5+ stars new version meh.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Peco, il y a 7 ansExperiencing trouble. Only the active tab is colored, not the others. FF 58 on Xubuntu 16.04
- Noté 3 sur 5par drlnielsen, il y a 7 ansWas a tried-and-true go-to for FF, now a little strange. Controls more than tab colors on my Firefox: deletes theme, colors all menus white, increases menu size. I suspect the developer has moved on to greater things.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13650119 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansI am sorry that my previous commentary didn't work for the mods/author, no disrespect was implied, intended or given, and it was posted in line with the way the comments should be posted.
Anyway, I only have one suggestion (request??) - at least change the screenshot on the main page to show what will happen, instead of a pic that is way off of what is actually given.
(Hopefully, this will get through and be (stay) posted, but I kinda doubt it. :( ) - Noté 3 sur 5par jameson21, il y a 7 ansThis was my favorite extension for years, and i am sure it will be so again when the problems with FF57 are ironed out. Just remember, the limitations with the new versions ARE NOT the developers fault. You have to work with what Firefox gives you. If the present version isn't meeting your standards then just disable it for a month or two and check back. You might be surprised, if not it didn't cost you a dime.
- Noté 3 sur 5par SleepyCatten, il y a 7 ansI'd love to give this a 5-star review, but I simply cannot.
The developer has recently stopped providing support for versions of Firefox prior to 57 (Quantum), which also includes the latest Waterfox version (56). As such, the most-recent version of the add-on for versions prior to 57 (31.2.3) does not have support for multi-process. As such, you have to disable it to make the add-on work.
If the developer is willing to provide an update for 31.2.3 to fix the multi-process bug, I will amend this review accordingly. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that I'd be willing to donate specifically for this to be done, so long as I could be guaranteed that donating would go specifically to this end.
In the meantime, I will have to make do without multi-process. - Noté 3 sur 5par mimteatr, il y a 7 ansThanks but there are some problems... why it colorizes also the menu and bookmarks toolbars?
it also kills themes! I just want the tabs colorized, is it possible? - Noté 3 sur 5par magicsunset, il y a 7 ansI always used the old colorful tabs scheme with a wide range of colors to choice, coloring any single tab in your own preferred color. So happy when I found this one for FF 57 - but unfortunately at the moment it does not work as before. So at the moment 3 of 5 stars to the developer and really zero stars for FF 57! So I think we all are patient and wait some time and one day Colorful Tabs will be back working as the old one - a very useful 5 stars tool.

mis en ligne : il y a 7 ansSo you want to rate 0 stars to Firefox Quantum. Fine. But why are you ruining the statistics and reputation of ColorfulTabs? - Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 10926038 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansIt is not open source. It has always worked well. Very beautiful. It has also always been very difficult to find the licence and the changelog.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 12988206 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansUpdate for version 57 Quantum plz!
- Noté 3 sur 5par iangarth, il y a 7 ansA lovely appearance. However, the latest incarnation is a little disappointing in that only the tab in use is coloured.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Espirito, il y a 7 ansAddon is NOT compatible with Firefox 56.* from NOW! Why it updates automatically?
- Noté 3 sur 5par phubert, il y a 7 ansThanks for the response Shivanand Sharma! I still think Mozilla is trying to move everyone OFF Firefox! Tyler Downer is the manager for the User Advocacy team at Mozilla and I'd like to know just what sort of "user advocacy" takes place?
It certainly seems Mozilla never ran any SURVEY of users regarding the changes TO Firefox and what it would immediately break!
Worse still, they keep updating OVER my restored earlier versions of FIrefox - FORCING me back to Quantum!
THAT approach is hardly one that endears them to users!
Without my extensions, Firefox is NO DIFFERENT FROM Chrome or Safari - so exactly what is my incentive to STAY with a group that has no interest in listening to me?
