- Noté 4 sur 5par Stephanie, il y a 3 joursThe setting "Hide Sponsored videos & promos" seems to trigger YouTube's adblock detector.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17095038 de Firefox, il y a 7 joursWorks pretty well, although the "skip ads" and "hide sponsored" options cause Youtube's anti-adblock popups to block the video player when using on Desktop.
I also wish it would fix Youtube Search when using on Mobile, since Youtube Search Fixer isn't available on Android. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18979699 de Firefox, il y a un moisGot this extension to fix the thumbnail problem, only to find out it had a setting for every other feature that annoyed me about youtube (pushing members only content, livestreams, defaulting to shitty AI dubs for languages I speak, the homepage being 90% videos I've already seen). Genuinely don't think I could go back to using youtube without it!

- Noté 5 sur 5par –Phase–, il y a un moisI had the "Skip ads" setting turned off since I use uBlock Origin to block ads, but this extension was still triggering the warning about adblockers. Turns out it was the "Skip sponsored videos and promos" setting that was causing it. Just wanted to put this here for anyone else having this issue.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Ares, il y a un moisGreat extension however due to its adblock function it trigger's youtube's adblock-detector and makes it so you can't watch videos. If an alternate version of this exisited without the built in adblocker (since I use a dedicated adblocker) then that'd be perfect. Good extension over all though!
- Noté 4 sur 5par masakaj, il y a un moisI am using Firefox on Android. When I open a private tab, the autoplay off feature doesn't work. It just doesn't seem to show the autoplay icon.
- Noté 4 sur 5par GarySlayer, il y a un moisAddon is getting detected and youtube blocks playing video. Some updates needed seems as of now to avoid this.
Other than that its been working very well so far. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18968403 de Firefox, il y a 2 mois
- Noté 5 sur 5par Dudemyster, il y a 2 moisMaking youtube usable and sane. really appreciate the work.
- Noté 5 sur 5par Oda, il y a 2 moisI dont think this is compatible with Blocktube, when the two were added on together I couldnt write comments or like/dislike comments but I beg you, please give us the options to block channels and videos. This is a amazing add on and I love it.
- Noté 4 sur 5par SomersetUpNorth, il y a 2 moisIn 2025, this add-on is an absolute must-have. YouTube has made a series of frustrating and questionable changes in recent years, many of which have negatively impacted the user experience. This tool goes a long way in helping to restore some sanity and usability to the platform.
Whether it's undoing design choices that don’t benefit viewers, or reintroducing elements that users actually found helpful, this add-on feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and works exactly as described. If you’re tired of fighting with a platform that seems to ignore its community’s feedback, this is well worth installing.
One small suggestion for a future update: please consider adding the ability to disable the "important" notifications and bring back chronological ones instead. Many of us just want to see updates in the order they happen, without the algorithm deciding what’s important on our behalf.
Overall, this add-on does an excellent job of putting some control back in the hands of users. Highly recommended! - Noté 5 sur 5par Quartzar, il y a 2 moisPhenomenal - completely fixes the borked UI that YouTube has forced upon anyone using Firefox and not their precious Google Chrome. Goodbye 2-3 video wide home page on 32" monitor...
- Noté 4 sur 5par Nazuna_Invitine, il y a 2 moisIt's cool and all, but there's no way from what I can tell to disable the "take snapshot" button, it's already getting quite annoying trying to right click and copy video URL to then accidentally click take snapshot due to muscle memory and then having to open file explorer and delete the screenshot of the video that I didn't want. It would be very nice if this extension was updated to allow you to be able to toggle the snapshot button on and off, as I personally do not need it, and it just makes the context menu when right clicking more irritating. If it really needs to be there, at least move the button in the context menu to not be under the loop button so then I won't accidentally click it when trying to copy video URL.

mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisApologies, we released this feature before it was fully ready. Options for it and a move to the bottom of the menu will be coming shortly in the next version
Edit: these changes are now available in v1.8.2 - Noté 5 sur 5par Psychotic Casual, il y a 2 mois
- Noté 4 sur 5par Private Citizen, il y a 2 moisI got it to change the stupid giant video thumbnail sizes, which it does. It's great that it also allows you to hide many of the page elements. The only negative is that YT detects the ad blocking, stops the video, and warns your account. It would be nice to also resize the shorts thumbnails.

mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisDisabling the following 3 options should prevent YouTube detecting adblocking:
1. Video lists → Hide sponsored videos & promos
2. Video pages → Skip ads
3. Video pages → Hide Merch, Offers etc.
We're looking at alternative ways to implement these, and we recommend uBlock Origin to block ads on YouTube in the meantime - Noté 5 sur 5par disasterofsorts, il y a 2 moisWorks straight out of the box, thanks so much! Now there just needs to be an option to make the size of the YT Shorts smaller!
EDIT: Thank you Dev for letting me know about the option to hide Playables!Réponse du développeur
mis en ligne : il y a 2 moisThe Video lists → Hide suggested sections option should hide Playables and other grid-interrupting shelves in Home, as well as the titled sections in Search which are irrelevant to your search results.
If you're seeing Playables somewhere else you don't want them, let us know and we can hide them. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 18180932 de Firefox, il y a 3 mois
