    just wanted to submit an up-to-date review, this add-on is working for me as of april 20th 2024 also google if you're reading this knock it off nobody wants your smelly lens app it's bad and it fails on every level to provide the services people actually go to image search for. you did a bad job and you should feel bad. gj add-on guy tho 👍

    I've been happily using this supplement since it was released, but unfortunately in the past few days I've noticed that it doesn't work at all! :(

    I drag any image into the image search engine, I search for a higher resolution version of any image, there are no results.
    Until now there were search results, now there is nothing at all.
    The result is just a fishing monster animation.

    Did Google change something or is the extension not working properly?

    This was a very important tool for me, I always needed it a lot.
    What can be done now?

    I tried it, but unfortunately it doesn't work even after deleting the cookies. :(
    I really need this device, I hope it can get better soon.

    it still works for me, so as usual they must be doing A/B testing causing it to not work on other people's computers. which makes it difficult to try and fix since i cant reproduce it not working on my computer locally to debug the issue. my only suggestion unfortunately would be to just wait it out and hopefully it will just resolve on its own, or try clearing your cookies/cache to force them to give you a different cookie which might fetch the working version.

    This is an amazing extension that allows you to use the old and original 'Google Image Search' without having to deal with the much hated 'Google Lens'.

    I hate Google Lens and love Google Image Search. Thanks for that extension! It works great.
    Edit: it stopped working great when used with Search by Image on Google add-on (context menu button to search by image). Or maybe that add-on no longer works at all because of changes made by google? I don't know.

    Vital to be able to actually use Google Images as they continue to push their godawful new Lens search.

    [EDIT: This review was originally negative but I have corrected it to my new opinion. The developer pointed out that I had not updated the extension and that was why it was not working. I feel very silly now.]

    are you using the latest version 0.1.2? it broke a couple of days ago and i had to rewrite it to make it work again, it is still working on my end at the moment so unfortunately it might be A/B testing

    Works as advertised. There's some css mess with navigation menu under search term input, it shows up vertically.
