Tried this for some time but search results in UK are poor.

It took a while for the penny to drop that YouTube was suddenly watchable. Gone are the repeated and insulting suggestions that the Americans could teach me English ( Sorry Guy's ). I watch Time Team during my evening meal and now it is much more enjoyable.
What a pity it cannot extend to obliterating all that is wrong with eBay.........

When one's IP is spoofed to a Chinese address, some search results or websites are completely omitted (e.g. thesaurus.com). This leads me to believe that DDG may be altering search results based on locale.
As a separate issue, DDG supposedly runs on Amazon servers, a US company which is shady on its own regarding tracking.

The extension is definitely a great extension, I just don't see why I should have it since Firefox has its own tracking protection now.

Excellent add-on for who is interested about privacy and isn't techie.
I love this extension and the DuckDuckGo project!
