DuckDuckGo Search & Tracker Protection par DuckDuckGo

- Noté 3 sur 5par Kelson, il y a 3 joursKeep in mind that it blocks *trackers*, not *ads*. The main advantage it has over, say, Privacy Badger and newer browser settings is that it detects email address fields and offers to generate a disposable alias (if you use that feature)
- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 15372037 de Firefox, il y a un moisSeems like it's working. However, I'm not sure why, but it seems that when adding DuckDuckGo Security & Tracker Protection, it's actually trying to add DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials. The fire button is missing and I've went through several troubleshooting steps to get the full version. It seems like there's an error with how this full version is packaged. I can't get the fire button to appear.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Faux Floras, il y a un moisGood privacy alternative to Google but AI answers are not as elaborate and detailed as Deepfind or Perplexity

- Noté 3 sur 5par BZ, il y a 7 moisConfiguration options are sparse. I want to use this extension for email protection, but there is no way to globally turn off other features. I'm using other extensions for privacy protection.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Finalreminder, il y a un anGood, but could really do with a whitelist option as it can block legitimate add-ons that depend on tracking; cash-back add-ons for instance.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Icaria, il y a un anNot exactly sure why this happened but running this addon caused youtube in non private windows to run really slowly to the point where I could only watch videos at 360p and as soon as I turned it off it went back to normal

- Noté 3 sur 5par Just Me, il y a 2 ansAutomatically changes your browsers default search engine to DuckDuckGo. Not a huge issue, but don't do that. Cannot stress enough how much I do NOT want that to happen. Ask next time.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Gen, il y a 2 ansit's really good but the processing time it uses for the page can slow down the page to a standstill if there are too many input fields for it to scan for email address features

- Noté 3 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 17978545 de Firefox, il y a 2 ansSetting search engine to duck duck go without any question is shady at best, especially since the extension is required for other unrelated features like duck.com email

- Noté 3 sur 5par altezza03, il y a 2 ansit was good before, but lately, it's not loading so many websites. plugin disabled for now.

- Noté 3 sur 5par Laura, il y a 3 ansBreaks some websites. Not really worth it as there are regular adblockers out there that can do the same job without breaking any websites.
- Noté 3 sur 5par Me, il y a 3 ansChanges your default search engine without first asking for permission to do so. Other than that provides privacy features that are mediocre. Nothing that cannot be found in other addons as well. Only extra thing it offers is to conveniently generate a disposable email address.
