- Noté 4 sur 5par PAA, il y a 7 ansIt's still not quite at the level or speed of Google Dictionary (by Google) in the Chrome Browser, but it's OK. I think it has to do with integration; that is, if the Firefox team created a built-into the browser version, rather than it being an add-on or extension, it would be more fluid. Since Chrome Browser has built-in spell check, I'm guessing it has some connection to that interface type. Why else would their pop-up results be so instant? No really, why?

- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14611655 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansThis has suddenly stopped working. I guess the recent Firefox update must have broken the extension. Please, please fix it!
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14559974 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansGood. But сan you switch the transcription to the standard IPA symbols?
- Noté 4 sur 5par RiffRaffMama, il y a 7 ansI find it incredibly handy to be able to just double click a word on any website and immediately be shown its definition in a simple coloured box with large type.
The only thing that *really* bothers me is if you double click on a plural word you are only told "plural form of (whatever word you double clicked)". If I'm double clicking a word, it's not because I'm confused by the presence of an 's' at the end of it, it's because I would like to see the definition of the root word. So frustrating!
Developers, please fix this!! - Noté 4 sur 5par Nils Trieu, il y a 7 ansPlease give us an option of metakey (cmd, ctrl, alt, shift) that is required to press before the popup appears. Thank you for an excellent extension!
- Noté 4 sur 5par PERCE-NEIGE, il y a 7 ansVery useful English dictionary.
Only problem: the "more" open a page with nothing. When I select a word in the page, please pass it to the definition window. Please, add a saving option, to save my words/definition, or an annotation. - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14301712 de Firefox, il y a 7 ans

- Noté 4 sur 5par metal321, il y a 7 ansThought it would work by highlighting the word. Didn't realized you had to double click.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14151545 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansWhile it is already good, it could be the best if it had history feature for the words(similar to Google Dictionary).
- Noté 4 sur 5par adix, il y a 8 ansNeeds some options, often present in add-ons:
- selection – other than by double click
- hot-key activation / open with a bubble . . .
- contextual menu
- history
- define the position and the dimensions of the pop-up
Sometimes, reinstalling solves some problems. - Noté 4 sur 5par Tom Kunzo, il y a 8 ansIt's good except for the fact that the dictionary used is not giving a really clear definition of the words to be checked.
I suggest using the Oxford Dictionary for your app. - Noté 4 sur 5par scottobob, il y a 8 ansWorks well, but I don't like the fact that a large popup blocks the page whenever I double click a word.
Better alternatives for me would be getting the popup from the right-click context menu, or maybe by clicking on a small bubble that appears after double clicking (like with some of the translator add-ons). - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13522774 de Firefox, il y a 8 ans
- Noté 4 sur 5par LezBoyd, il y a 8 ansIt does what it says, which is great, and even more great is the fact that I don't have to manually install any dictionaries or do much configuration. The only sore point for me is the need to double click a word to highlight it, which is less practical (IMHO) than a selecting a word with the mouse and getting to see its meaning via the context menu. Some websites, including news outlets, set up scripts to show popups on double click, which is why a context menu option is more desirable in such cases. I hope the developers introduce this option in later versions.
