MetaMask is an essential Firefox extension for anyone involved in cryptocurrency and Web3. It allows you to manage your Ethereum-based assets, interact with decentralized applications (dApps), and securely store tokens, all from your browser. With its intuitive interface and robust security features, it’s a must-have for crypto enthusiasts.
Pros:
✅ Secure crypto wallet: Safely stores and manages your Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens.
✅ Seamless dApp integration: Easily connects to dApps, DeFi platforms, and NFT marketplaces.
✅ User-friendly interface: Clear and easy-to-navigate UI, even for beginners.
✅ Customizable gas fees: Allows you to adjust gas fees for faster or cheaper transactions.
✅ Hardware wallet support: Compatible with Ledger and Trezor for added security.
Cons:
❌ Ethereum-focused: Limited support for non-Ethereum blockchains (though it does support some via custom networks).
❌ Occasional performance issues: Can sometimes slow down Firefox slightly when handling multiple dApp connections.
❌ Risk of phishing: Since it’s popular, it’s a common target for phishing scams—be cautious with links.
💡 Overall, MetaMask is a powerful and reliable crypto wallet for Firefox users. Whether you're trading, exploring NFTs, or interacting with DeFi, it offers convenience and security in one sleek extension. Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced users!

It was constantly not fully loading, they fixed it, and now its back to the same not loading again. The same answers for help are, "close browser, try again" ... yeah, that doesn't work.

- Noté 1 sur 5par CAMPI6277, il y a 2 moisHorrible experience. Metamask has become trash at everything.
This extension is slow, full of bugs (you need to refresh it many times). The pop-up windows and the app page often don't match. For every single operation (like reviewing your wallet or opening a token page) there are a lot of stuttering, connection issues, freezes and so on.
Metamask has become literally trash, even the Android app has the same issues. Also, it has too many spam pop-ups during navigation to convince you to buy its useless services.
Avoid Metamask wallet like the plague. - Noté 1 sur 5par palito, il y a 2 moisIt became so bloated that even on a reasonably new computer it takes forever to do basic stuff.
It was a nice addinn, but right now I'm better off without it. - Noté 1 sur 5par Lycoris, il y a 3 moisI have no idea how it works, but after metamask changed the UI, it becomes garbage. And it will continues loading sth in the background and finally it eat all my memory (FYI, used more than 15GB RAM) and affect my whole PC WTF... BTW I don't even unlock it and it still running in the background.
After I disabled metamask extension, Firefox become normal and as smooth as before. Very disappointed to metamask. - Noté 5 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 19938696 de Firefox, il y a 3 mois

However the performance is just so terrible for an app of this magnitude that that deserves no less than a 3 point deduction. It is a problem on both chromium and firefox, i've used both.
I had to uninstall it multiple times because of performance issues for no apparent reason. One time it was using 8GB of ram and the extension was locked and everything, on brave. It would have been using more had there been more than 8GB of ram left available for it to devour. The entire experience is too laggy and unrefined. This isn't something that the devs should ignore. Even worse than the issue with the non-existent 'max' button when sending tokens, this is literally the primary reason i am looking for an alternative more suitable for frequent transactions and daily use, which is probably the 3rd or 4th time ive been in this position now. I return hoping things have improved, only to find that the extension runs the same way it did before, or even worse than it did before - ive experienced that too.
Get the finger out and make it better. If you are profitable now, could you imagine if people actually enjoyed your products.
This industry is just an extension of the financial industry, same crows, similar nest. Greedy fckers. You want more money, so it is beyond me what the hold up could be.
